Kelly told MTV last Tuesday that she already has a few songs written for a second album. "If you listen to the lyrics, it's so much more mature," Kelly said. 

"When I did [my debut] I was 16,  and how much you change from when you're 16 to 17 is a lot. From 16 to 19 is a huge difference," said Osbourne, who turns 19 in October.

Kelly spun her departure from Epic as a positive thing that will help advance her career, "I'm actually really happy about it. [Former Sony Music chief] Tommy Mottola signed me, and then when he left I kind of got put on the shelf, you know. [Leaving] was just a mutual agreement, where I can go somewhere where they'll look after me. [Epic] is still our friends. I've known one of the people there my whole entire life."

MTV also addressed Kelly’s other aspiration, that of the silver screen. MTV reports that “Kelly is finalizing her first foray into film. She's been reading several scripts and is in talks with the producers of one of them, though she won't reveal details until a deal is finalized.”

"I've been offered some really stupid roles, like the ugly stepsister and stuff, but I don't wanna do anything like that," she said. "I'd rather do an independent movie than, like, a major movie, just because I don't even know if I can act yet."

Her lack of a singing voice didn’t keep her from making an album, so we’ll see if she is any better at acting if she takes that plunge too. 

Kelly and Ozzy a Package Deal? 
In related news, The Daily Star reports that Sharon Osbourne is talking with some record companies about new contracts for her husband and daughter. "She believes she can offer the pair in a special package deal and their level of fame in the U.S. is about as high as it gets," said an insider.

Yes, but Kelly’s fame doesn’t sell many records. Will a label be forced to take her own if they want to sign Ozzy?  Sometimes family and business shouldn’t mix. Then again maybe Kelly’s more mature lyrics will surpace her past poetic gems like “blah, blah, blah”.
