New CD from Staind:
Here is a quick update for Staind fans.
Elektra has set May 6th as the release date for Stainds new studio album.
The album is still without a title.
Depswa BBQ Fans:
One of Geffens newest signings, Depswa,
held a BBQ for fans in Los Angeles on January 12th and capped the event
off with a live performance. The BBQ was staged as a special thank you
from the band to Los Angeles area members of their street team.
Their Geffen debut will be released later
this year but the band will hit the road with labelmates trustCOMPANY next
month.
Nikki Sixx Bio (press release):

Van Halen Tribute(press release):
This spring Versailles Records will release,
for the first time in the US, legendary glam rock band T-Rex's front man
Marc Bolan's first solo album, 'You Scare Me to Death', in stores in March;
as well as a new tribute record in April entitled 'Best of Both Worlds:
A Tribute to Van Halen's David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar', featuring current
and former members of bands including Aerosmith, Dokken, Dangerous Toys,
TNT, XYZ, Enuff Znuff, Watchtower, Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot, Kix, and a host
of others; and a new release series of spoken word/book-on-CD releases
entitled the Audiobiography Series, the first of which being "An Education
in Rebellion: The Audio-Biography of Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx", due in
stores in April, 2003.
