In this his fifth studio album, Manson tells fans to expect a return to his roots and describes the new music as sounding like "licking the floor of a men's bathroom," "getting kicked in the balls with a brick on a shoe" countered by "a beautiful woman caressing your private parts." 

"Grotesque is the core of everyone's imagination," Manson is quoted as saying in an article on RollingStone.com. "It's what you're afraid to think about. And it shouldn't be. You shouldn't be afraid to think about anything, you shouldn't be afraid to say anything."

Manson is set to hit the road this summer as part of Ozzfest but he also plans on launching a ten-date outing before then that will include a "Grotesque Burlesque."

"It'll be a chance for people to get a taste of what I'm about," says Manson. "I'm gonna pick these venues that people can come to, and they're gonna see things that they're not supposed to see. They're gonna see art, they're gonna see naked women, they're gonna see music. It's going to be decadent and entertaining and I like that."
