From Blabbermouth.net – Paul Di’Anno Plans Unplugged Album of Maiden Classics.

Former IRON MAIDEN vocalist Paul Di'Anno is in the studio recording the first all-acoustic album of MAIDEN classics, due later in the year. As a way to get the fans excited about the upcoming collection, Di'Anno and his band, dubbed KILLERS, recently recorded acoustic versions of "Wrathchild" and "Remember Tomorrow" at XFM Radio's London studio. The XFM recordings will be aired for the first time on Ian Camfield's show on Saturday, March 15 between 8:00 p.m. and midnight.

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

LA ROCK BAND MEDICATION PARTS WAYS WITH LABEL AND DISBANDS

Los Angeles, CA (February 19, 2003) -- MEDICATION has officially parted ways with label, LOCOMOTIVE RECORDS.

Along with this label separation, MEDICATION has collectively agreed to dissolve the band. While they believed in this project since its inception, this amicable decision to disband was one that was carefully considered. After four years, the band felt they gave MEDICATION their all and decided it was in their best interest to move on and pursue other projects.

LOGAN MADER (guitar/vocals), continues to produce/engineer other bands and is working on a project with BLUNT (guitar). WHIT CRANE (vocals) is involved in a project in San Francisco that is not yet announced. KYLE SANDERS (bass) and CHRIS HAMILTON (drums) continue to work on their VOD project.

Along with the above, MEDICATION will no longer have an official website or message board. The band's former official website, MedicationMusic.com, is now closed.

MEDICATION extends thanks to all the fans, press and radio that supported their music.

From Harper PR – Steve Bertrand lands new management, Pens A.U.S.A. Theme and Lands a new band.

Press Release

Steve Bertrand, former lead singer of southern California rock group The Tories, has signed with Eric Godtland of EGM Management (Third Eye Blind, KGB, Dakona).

Bertrand is also the writer and performer of the theme song to NBC’s newest comedy “A.U.S.A,” airing Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. and starring Scott Foley.

To top all this off, the musician has formed a new band, Avion, currently recording their forthcoming album. Their song “Bulletproof Glow,” featured on NBC’s hit sitcom “Scrubs,” will also be on their new CD.
