Creed Sued By Fans.

Warning to bands, if you give a sub par performance
or appear out of it during a concert then your fans may sue to get their
money back. Thats a lesson Creed is learning at the moment as four fans
have reportedly filed suit against group asking to be reimbursed for tickets
and parking following a controversial show last December in Chicago where
Creed frontman was allegedly "so intoxicated and/or medicated that he was
unable to sing the lyrics of a single Creed song."
Shortly after news of the disastrous gig
hit the press Creeds management issued an apology but thats not enough
for these four fans who reportedly filed suit in Cook County Circuit Court
this week. They hope that others will join in the suit and a class action
can be brought against the band. Estimates put the total tab at $2 million
if a refund is given to every person who attended the show.
The plaintiffs also name Ticketmaster and
the groups management company in the suit, stating that they, along with
the other members of the group, knew the condition that Stapp was in prior
to the concert and still let the show go on.
The plaintiffs have reportedly not asked
to be compensated for pain and suffering, apparently because they willingly
sat through a Creed concert.
The Creed camp has not yet publicly responded
to these developments.
