Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe has checked in with fans upon his return to the United States after his manslaughter trial in the Czech Republic was put on hold. Blythe posted a series of messages on his Intragram account on Tuesday which detailed what he has been through and what comes next in the case. Read his posts below: "I am back in Richmond, VA here in the U.S. of A., and I am certainly glad to see my home & friends here. But I shall return to Prague for the end of my trial, March 4 & 5- hopefully it will finally be settled. The judge told me I did not have to return for the end of the trial, but my head and my heart will remain in Prague until I see this thing through. Prague has built a strange place for itself in my heart- it is a beautiful place, one I have gotten to know rather well, and even love to a degree. But it is a city of contrasts for me, for I see Prague's beauty through a lens of tragedy. The city and what brought me there will always remain with me for the rest of my life. I must pay attention to the nature of this dichotomy, and learn it's lesson, no matter what happens. An old angel in front of a spray painted wall- it's perfect. "Nothing has just one side to it, and I believe it is a mistake to judge things immediately by exterior appearances alone. For example, take this clock. Prague has many, many, many towers and clocks, including the astronomical one in Old Town Square. The astronomical clock is one of the coolest clocks I have ever seen- people from all over the world gather every hour to watch it strike the hour, with all it's mechanized statues popping out and spinning around- it's basically a gigantic version of the world's coolest cuckoo clock. Prague has many other cool clock towers as well. Someone might look at this tired old clock and say "Ugh! Tear that thing down! Why would you have that clock when there are so many others here that are so pretty?" But to me, this clock is beautiful. It holds a strange place in my heart, like Prague itself. "The clock in beautiful to me, because in there, in Pankrαc Prison, it was the only way I had to tell time for a long while. "After my last day in court recently, my wife, a friend, and I took the subway over to Pankrαc. I needed to see it, to take pictures, to look at what was my home for over a month. It was a strange feeling returning there, and I think some wouldn't do it. I don't know- my trial is not over yet. I could return to a cell behind these walls. But I just wanted to see the place. The outside is nothing like the inside- once again, the dichotomy of my life in Prague. This is a beautiful row of birch trees planted alongside the outer wall of this 123 year old prison. On the other side is another world. more

Def Leppard's Joe Elliott, Rick Savage and Phil Collen celebrate the 30th anniversary of "Pyromania" on the latest episode of In The Studio. The album proved a massive success for the band and would have been the best selling album of the year had it not been up against Michael Jackson's "Thriller." During the interview frontman Joe Elliott discussed with the show's host Redbeard the challenges the band faced recording the album. "About halfway through the Pyromania album I first noticed that it was getting difficult to create something that was as good as the top notch artists. We weren't that little band from Sheffield anymore, we had to be better and bigger than Boston, Foreigner
you name it." You can stream the entire episode here.

(Radio.com) While many were hunkered down in the northeast during the Blizzard of 2013, Bon Jovi played not one, but two shows for a snowed-in crowd at the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, CT. Friday night, while the winds whipped up snow around Southeastern Connecticut, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, and the rest of the band played a private pre-tour rehearsal show for CBS Radio and Radio.com in front of a crowd of 350 or so die hard fans from the New York and New England area.Bon Jovi took the stage to cheers and applause from the small snow-bound crowd at the Connecticut casino, launching right into the band's first number one hit, You Give Love a Bad Name. "So what do you think?" Jon Bon Jovi, asked a cheering crowd about what was supposed to be the band's final rehearsal before kicking off the multi-city Because We Can world tour the following night in the same arena at Mohegan Sun. Blizzard and hazardous travel conditions would prove to be too much for concert officials, who decided to postpone the public Saturday show. But for the approximately 2,000 fans who had arrived at the casino's hotel prior to the statewide mandatory travel ban in Connecticut, Bon Jovi would not disappoint. The band played an impromptu free show Saturday evening at 5pm for everyone stranded in the Mohegan Sun complex, guests and employees alike. "You gotta be really big to do matinees," Jon Bon Jovi told the hastily assembled crowd in the Mohegan Sun Arena. "Welcome to what is the first show, or the last rehearsal of the What About Now tour. You'll be able to say 'I was there.'" more.

(Radio.com) As Paramore continue to stir excitement with their triumphant alt-rock return, the trio has released a video to accompany, "Now," the first single from their upcoming self-titled album."I think 'Now' is a really good starting point for where we're going as a band," says frontwoman Hayley Williams of the album's first single in an interview with Radio.com. "If feels like there's something really empowering about it and the message behind it. I felt that when we wrote it." Williams added that it was friends and family that convinced them to release the track first. Lying in the middle of a war-torn battlefield, a creepy-looking Williams watches as soldiers attempt to end her life with an assortment of weaponry. Williams' bright orange locks make her easy to spot within the smokey monochromatic video landscape. After picking her self up, she walks toward the leader of the enemy troop. Finally captured, she's brought to the foot of the menacing leader. As he cocks back his baton preparing to end her life, she breaks free from the soldiers' grip and flips the script. (Gibson) Sure, '80s rock ballads can be hilarious and nonsensical at times. But there's something to be said for a big-sounding, from-the-heart arena ballad with cheesy lyrics and grandiose guitars. In other words, there's nothing quite like a '80s rock ballad to see you through Valentine's Day, whether you're alone or newly in love. Gibson has compiled a list of 10 ballads to check out for Valentine's Day. Here are a three:Aerosmith, "Angel": Valentine's Day brings out images of cherubs and angels, so Aerosmith's "Angel" seems a good fit. Steven Tyler croons, "Come and save me tonight," the girls come running. Proof lies in the fact that "Angel" was one of the band's highest charting singles of the era. What can we say? People love a good love balled. Guns N' Roses, "Sweet Child O' Mine": What's not to love about this bad-boy-tuned-good song from Guns N' Roses? Those party-happy rockers show off their romantic side in this classic, and it's about as romantic as Guns N' Roses gets. Journey, "Open Arms": Journey's "Open Arms" is the perfect tune for someone taking back their ex. The song tells the tale of a love asking for forgiveness after some mistake. So, if you cheated on your girl or guy (which we don't recommend, by the way), this may be the tune to help make things right again. See what other songs made the list here.

You know his songs, Welcome to My Nightmare, The Black Widow, I Never Cry, and of course, Only Women Bleed, as modern day classics recorded by Alice Cooper. Guitar enthusiasts will his guitar from work with Lou Reed, KISS, Aerosmith, Meat Loaf and many more. Michigan rock and rollers in the late 60s and early 70s will remember him as a cult hero as leader of the bands The Bossmen, The Frost and Ursa Major. That person would be Dick Wagner. (5 stars)
