There have been rumors of a Rolling Stones farewell tour for quite a while, but now a member goes on record confirming that there are talks about it within the band. Gibson reports: Speaking to Le Parisien, Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts said, "We're discussing it at the moment. We said that if we do something, it will be next year or the year after."With Watts turning 70 next June and Mick and Keith joining him in the not-too-distant future, the group is hesitant to look too far ahead. "We've reached an age where you can't look too far into the future," he said. After the story was initially leaked that the Stones would embark on a farewell tour, there has been no word about specific dates. According to Watts, it's all in the hands of the Glimmer Twins: "We will resume playing whenever Mick and Keith get bored. At the moment, they're having a good time."

Aerosmith's final concert in Canada on their current tour may be the band's final concert period according to lead guitarist Joe Perry."Technically speaking, after the gig in Vancouver (on Sept. 16), I don't have a job with Aerosmith," Perry told the Calgary Herald "We know these are the last shows for awhile. And I really do mean awhile. I don't know when we'll be out there again, the five of us, so we'll be playing with everything we've got." The reason? Frontman Steven Tyler's new gig. While the Aerosmith have confirmed that Tyler will be a judge on American Idol, the Idol camp has yet to make it official. But Perry doesn't think too highly of the move, "It's a reality show designed to get people to watch that station and sell advertising. It's one step above (Teenage Mutant) Ninja Turtles," he tells the Herald. "I'll tell you one thing, when we put this band together, this is not something that (Steven Tyler) would do," he adds, his voice filled with disappointment and frustration. "It's his business, but I don't want Aerosmith's name involved with it. We have nothing to do with it." However, there is a chance that the other members will carry on without Tyler. Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo somewhat addressed the controversy over their new album title. Gibson reports: Forgive Rivers if he seems inclined to second-guess the name of the band's new album, Hurley. The L.A. alt-rockers have had album titles bite them in the caboose before. "We've always had bad luck," the singer-guitarist told the Toronto Sun. "We put out Pinkerton in 1996, and the day it came out we got sued by the Pinkerton Security Agency, and they took the albums off the shelves in its first week of release."Weezer fans have been in a bit of an uproar since guitarist Brian Bell divulged that Hurley was named after the Hurley clothing company (which is making Weezer-inspired shirts and hoodies) and not the Lost character, as was widely assumed. "We didn't want to have another self-titled album, because that's just confusing," Cuomo explained. "But yeah, we easily could have called it Jorge Garcia, the name of the actor who played Hurley. Anything else would have been better."

A member of The Pogues has disavowed a recent announcement as a PR stunt. Gibson tells that tale: Contrary to their recent announcement, Irish punk-folkies The Pogues are not throwing in the towel after their December tour. Spinner reports that guitarist Phil Chevron posted a comment on the band's official forum saying that the press release was meant to drum up publicity for the band."This claim does not come from me and I will neither be supporting it nor discussing it," Chevron wrote, which resulted in an explanation from bandmate Spider Stacy. Apparently the upcoming trek will be the band's final Christmas tour, but not the final tour forever. "This is the last Christmas tour for the foreseeable future," Stacy wrote. "That's not to say we won't be showing up at festivals here and there or maybe even the odd gig around the U.K. and Ireland and certainly in Europe. But we're tired of dragging our weary, freezing carcasses around these drowning islands every December, so we're going to give it a rest before you get tired of it, too. Go and see The Libertines. They're the best."

He is now 55 and is serving a 20-years-to-life sentence at the maximum-security Attica Correctional Facility. Chapman will next be up for parole in August of 2012. Three parole board commissioners from the New York State Division of Parole had a video conference with Chapman. Kenney's music begins with an alternative rock foundation and branches out towards the multifaceted genres of punk rock, R&B, and ambient. Kenney's talent extends past that of the typical musician. In addition to writing and playing every instrument on his solo endeavors, he records and produces them. Burn The Tapes once again exhibits his technical skills as a multi-instrumentalist. Kenney implements experiences from his previous bands into his solo albums to give him his distinct sound. Thrashing guitars are remnants of his Philadelphia-based punk rock band, Supergrub, which was strongly influenced by Bad Brains. The heaviness of some songs is counterbalanced with funky grooves perfected from his stint with The Roots. Kenney's vocal cadence is similar to fellow Incubus bandmate, Brandon Boyd, with added falsetto notes to his chiefly tenor vocals.
