Bon Jovi Live DVD and Blu-ray
Bon Jovi Live at Madison Square Garden DVD and Blu-ray will be released in the UK on November 23rd. Here is what the PR peeps sent over about it: The world's biggest and best live band release an incredible document of their return to Madison Square Garden, New York City's most iconic venue.

For a group born across the water in New Jersey, 'The Garden' was the always a holy grail, the marker that they had made it. 19 years to the day after the band first performed there, they returned to the same stage for the last date of their historic Lost Highway tour, officially the biggest tour on the planet in 2008.

Created by award winning Director, Anthony M. Bongiovi and shot with 23 High Definition cameras, Live From Madison Square Garden features a career spanning set list including Have A Nice Day, Always, Wanted Dead Or Alive, Livin' On A Prayer and even a cover of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah that Cohen himself rates as his favourite version. This is a snapshot of a band 25 years into a record breaking career and still hitting their peak in the live arena. - more on this story

Six Feet Under Detail Graveyard Classics 3
Six Feet Under are back with their 3rd installment of the band's cover series, Graveyard Classics 3, due out on Metal Blade Records January 19th 2010. Graveyard Classics 3 was recorded at D.O.I. Digital Audio in Tampa, FL, was mixed at Audiohammer Studios by Mark Lewis, and was produced by Chris Barnes.

Here's what the godfather of gore and death Chris Barnes has to say about the band's latest chapter in the Graveyard Classics chain:

"We went about picking the tracks for this installment of Graveyard Classics by really just trying to search out songs from early on in our musical upbringing, as well as tracks from when we were just fans of heavy music, before we started playing in a band. Once again choosing songs that have really stuck with us over the years, also choosing the songs that we felt would sound interesting when played in the SFU 'death groove' style. - more including tracklisting

Pixies iPhone App Coming, Doolittle Tour Shows Collectors CDs Now
With their sold-out European "Doolittle Tour" complete and a similar standing-room-only U.S. leg just underway (which features a complete performance of their 1989 classic Doolittle each night), the Pixies are giving fans a unique opportunity to take the night's performance home with them. Starting on the first night of the group's four-performance stand in New York City (Monday, November 23), fans can purchase a CD of that night's show about 10-minutes after the Pixies walk off stage. And for those attending shows before the 23rd, no need to fret - you can purchase recordings of earlier 2009 U.S. tour stops via the website, www.doolittlelive.com

The company Abbey Road Live is recording every Pixies show from the November 8 show all the way through the end of the tour in Washington, D.C. on December 1. The shows will be offered as limited edition, high quality CD sets - each CD set having two discs in it, and each CD set being individually numbered. The two-CD sets will sell for $25 each, and will be mixed and mastered every night - resulting in full, multi-track mixes, not board mixes. The CDs are strictly limited edition - only 1,000 will be made per night for each show. Also being offered are commemorative USB wristbands for $15 each. With each wristband, fans will get four songs recorded from the European leg of the tour, as well as five Pixies videos as bonus content. And if you buy the USB, you also get a $5 discount code which will result in a download costing $10 (rather than its normal $15 price). The quicker you place your order at www.doolittlelive.com the better, because they're certain to go fast.

Also near completion is an exclusive Pixies iPhone App which is being developed by BlueHaze for Abbey Road Live and the Pixies, and will feature plenty of "social media features" in it. For instance, all of the band's official Twitters, MySpace and Facebook blogs will come through the App. Additionally, you can click on a tab to see the full Pixies catalog, and by hitting a button, will be led to iTunes. Another link will also lead fans to an area where you can pre-purchase any of the live products being sold, while another link allows fans to have the ability to take pictures and share them with other fans and interact at shows. - more on this story
