MusicRadar reports: Back in their day - the early '70s, to be exact - The Faces were a sticky, sweaty blues-rock band. 'Funky' they were not. But that's likely to change, with Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist Flea now set to record and tour with the reunited group. When it was announced last November that Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood were reforming the much-loved outfit - count Oasis and The Black Crowes as huge fans - speculation ran wild as to who would step in to fill the slot left by original Faces bassist Ronnie Lane, who died in 1997. Rumors began to surface late last year that Flea had rehearsed with the band, and yesterday Ronnie Wood confirmed that the LA-based funkmeister was a lock.

Reuters reports: The Parents Television Council is warning parents about the Britney Spears song "If U Seek Amy" and urging radio stations not to broadcast it because the nonprofit organization believes it "would violate the broadcast indecency law" if aired between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. (Not to nitpick but can any of Britney's "music" be considered decent?)Saying the title phrase quickly out loud produces a sound akin to spelling out the F-word, said PTC president Tim Winter. "There is no misinterpreting the lyrics to this song, and it's certainly not about a girl named Amy," he said of the track, the third single from Spears' new Jive album, "Circus." "It's one thing for a song with these lyrics to be included on a CD so that fans who wish to hear it can do so, but it's an entirely different matter when this song is played over the publicly-owned airwaves, especially at a time when children are likely to be in the listening audience," Winter says.

OK, so it's almost a month later - where's the video?"I have heard about this, yes," Ulrich told Rolling Stone. "There was a couple of clips of me in the video and they asked if I would sign off on it. When it got to me, I signed off on the one clip. I don't know where [the rumor] came from. I'd love to be in a Guns N' Roses video. It's my favorite song on the record - I think it's a great song. "I can't wait for the video to come out," added Ulrich. "There's a shot of me and Axl embracing backstage at some concert, and I signed off that, and hopefully it'll make it in the final cut."

PR reports: More than two decades after the music video explosion of the early 1980s, Hoobastank are taking the medium to the next level with their groundbreaking "My Turn" video. Helmed by Grammy nominated director P.R. Brown and programmed by Daniel Kim from Deep Fried Productions, the innovative "My Turn" music video is interactive, allowing viewers to control the on-screen action.Designed to be viewed online the eye-popping video has the look and feel of a video game, complete with different characters and varying scenarios. Wearing different costumes and swapping instruments, each member of Hoobastank (lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Doug Robb, guitarist Dan Estrin and drummer Chris Hesse) performed and was shot individually against a green screen. Together with a gaggle of guests (bikini models, senior citizens, Robb's mother and father-in-law, among others), the band created a video that's truly uniqueone that offers fans a new experience with each viewing. "You have the option to create any version of it that you want," says Robb. "You can have Chris sing while I play guitar in drag with an old lady on drums. And you can keep switching it up as the video goes along. Create an all Dan band. An all dog band. Whatever you want. The options are endless. It's very cool and I think that the fans are gonna have fun with it."
