AP reports: The Alameda County district attorney's office has dropped charges against a member of the group Saving Abel and an employee of the band accused of forcing a 17-year-old girl to perform oral sex after a concert in Oakland, Calif.Prosecutors and defense attorneys for 33-year-old Jason Null of Corinth, Miss., and 21-year-old Brandon Danger of Tampa, Fla., say a video recording contradicted the girl's claims. The charges were dropped Tuesday. Assistant District Attorney Tom Rogers says the video taken after a concert in Oakland last week shows the girl led people to believe she was older and was not forced into the sex act with Danger.

antiMusic reports: Judas Priest ironically issued a statement against scalperd this week but suggested fans use Ticketmaster to buy tickets. The ticket giant recently was dragged over the coals for redirecting customers to their ticket scalping site. Here is the Judas Priest Announcement: Tickets for the Judas Priest UK shows are priced between £22.50 and £37.50 (plus booking fees). We suggest you only buy them via ticketmaster.co.uk or the venues directly - it has come to our attention that other websites have been trying to sell the tickets for way above these prices - don't pay inflated prices!!

MusicRadar reports: Some folks might still be "down wit da Bizkit," but guitarist Wes Borland, who played with the critically maligned rap/nu metal band in the '90s, isn't one of them. While leader Fred Durst and the rest of the Limp Bizkit are planning a reunion/comeback album (dubious on all levels, we must say), the group's popular ex-axeman Borland, who now leads his own industrial rock outfit, Black Light Burns, has told them not to expect to see him rollin' into the studio. "I have no plans on working with Limp again," Borland told mlive.com. "It's better for me for sure. I'm having a great time doing Black Light Burns."

PR reports: Metal Machine Music: Nine Inch Nails and the Industrial Uprising is the fascinating history of an often overlooked, but vital, contemporary musical form. It's coming to DVD on April 7th from MVD. Providing inspiration for the title of this DVD, Lou Reed's 5th solo album split opinion dramatically upon its release in 1975, but while many saw it as a contractual obligation designed to shock the listener, its long term influence has been nothing short of startling. The likes of Genesis P.Orridge and Throbbing Gristle in London, Cabaret Voltaire in Sheffield however, were concurrently performing a UK brand of what would soon be termed 'industrial', and these seeds collectively not only assisted and influenced the rapid rise of that period's Punk assault, they also moved electronic music into a new era. This new era would run its own course and influence greatly an American drift in the mid-1980s towards a home-grown, danceable variety of electro-industrial rock, with the remarkable Nine Inch Nails at its heart and soul.

antiMusic reports: We've been telling you all about REPO! The Genetic Opera and the recent REPO! Road Tours. The third tour just wrapped up and REPO star and co-writer Terrance Zdunich (plays Grave Robber) gives us the lowdown! Here is today's entry from Cincinnati.Today we are losing Alexa Vega. She's been a real trooper, braving the REPO Road Tour for the past 3 nights, putting up with us, the REPO! Boys, and our REPO! Boy antics. I'm sad to see her go. Alexa's been a real source of light on the tourfor us, and the fansand because of her role in REPO! (Shilo), I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Ms. Vega. Hell, in person I almost always refer to her as Shilo. And sometimes, just sometimes, she responds back to me as Mister GraveRobber. I hope that 30 years from now we're still doing this. January 18th, 2009. We have a 2:00pm flight out of Baltimore today en route to our 6th stop on REPO Road Tour 3: Cincinnati, Ohio. We board the plane. Spooky Dan, our Goth-clad tour manager, is seated at the front of the aircraft next to this little, old, blue-haired lady. I so want to stand up and take a picture of this comical pairing, but I refrain; my diabolical intentions would be way too obvious to the other passengers in this confined space, and considering that I'm a hostage aboard this plane for the next 2 hours, I want to avoid 120-minutes of dirty looks, and the inevitable interrogations that will follow: "Why did you steal grandmother's clothes?" Growling, "Because I wanted Red."
