antiMusic reports: Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump was arrested in West Hollywood on Tuesday night. But before you FOB fans get all excited or upset, know that it was for a relatively minor traffic violation and he is now a free man. Apparently Stump had a two-year-old warrant out for his arrest for driving without a valid driver's license, which is a misdemeanor in California. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore told AP that the 25-year-old was arrested late Tuesday during a traffic stop by Los Angeles police. He was booked on an outstanding warrant for driving without a license and released early Wednesday after posting $15,000 bail. While AP tried to reach Stump's publicist on Wednesday and failed (wonder if it's the same person at Island that ignores our inquiries? If so, it's good to know we aren't the only ones experiencing the Universal black hole where questions go in but answers never back come out.) But fear not! Fall Out Boy are pretty much the current MTV house band. So if you want to get the inside story, that is the place to go since they apparently have the band members themselves on speed dial (that's an assumption on our part). MTV News spoke with Stump "approximately 90 minutes after he posted bail," and here is what he had to say to them about his arrest, "All I really have to say is ignorance of the law isn't innocence. I didn't want to give up my Illinois driver's license and was unaware that was a crime. It is, by the way, in the state of California. Lesson learned. I technically broke a law, so technically I deserve whatever I get. But man, is my mom gonna be pissed."

antiMusic reports: Not surprisingly Black Label Society have pulled the plug on their involvement on the Pedal To The Metal tour due to frontman Zakk Wylde's hospitalization for several blood clots. The tour will go on without them.As Zakk pointed out in his Twitter update on Tuesday night (see see story, the very act of singing places him in danger of an embolism. He appears to be doing ok, as he took to his Twitter page on Wednesday to joke around with Chris Cornell about who is on more drugs at the moment. Referencing Cornell's posts like "downloading some songs for secret research involving an M R I numerous blood panels and a microwavable pizza" and "She spied on our lives with the little doll eyes." Plus some even stranger ramblings. But apparently Zakk is feeling well enough to keep up on his friends there and we'll take that as a good sign. While Black Label Society's PR folks are not known to send us updates, a fan forwarded the following announcement to us on Wednesday, which looks official: Black Label Society has performed their last show on The Pedal To The Metal Tour due to the health of frontman Zakk Wylde. Wylde has been diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs, and has been admitted into the hospital in Eugene, OR this afternoon. Today's BLS appearance in Eugene has been canceled, along with the remaining BLS appearances on the tour.

antiMusic reports: It appears that there might be some trouble in Slipknot land. As a member of the band issued a statement contradicting the band's previous contradictory statements about recent concert cancellations, which were originally attributed to Joey Jordison being "taken to the hospital for health reasons." Those mysterious health reasons were never disclosed and that reported hospitalization happened on Sat where the band's website said at the time "No further shows will be canceled. We anticipate Joey making a full recovery and continuing the tour in Kennewick, WA on Sunday." That show was postponed and then when Monday rolled around the band contradicted that further by announcing that the remaining August and September have been "canceled due to illness." However, Blabbermouth posted a statement from bassist Paul Gray on Wednesday where he said "There are PERSONAL issues in the band that NEED to be taken care of for us to continue touring. Let me emphasize JOEY IS NOT DEAD/DYING, **HE IS FINE**. We have been working hard for the last year and a half on the 'All Hope Is Gone' touring cycle and it catches up to you, as I said earlier, but I am very sorry. We had to cancel to the two-week run but are desperately trying to make those shows up in our October tour." Draw your own conclusions, but you can read his full statement

antiMusic reports: Korn announced this week that will be offering the Premium Members of Korn.com a free exclusive digital EP four times a year. The first offering will be released early next month and will include a preview of the band's forthcoming album. According to their news post, that track will be "a rough instrumental demo from the band's upcoming studio album, amongst other previously unreleased tracks."

antiMusic reports: Megadeth's Dave Mustaine spoke with Metal Hammer magazine in their September issue about why he turned down Metallica's invitation to attend their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Mustaine was a founding member of Metallica, but even though he has songwriting credits to some of their early songs, he was fired from the band and replaced by Kirk Hammett before Metallica began recording their debut album. Mustaine told Metal Hammer why he decided not to attend Metallica's induction: "Lars [Ulrich, Metallica drummer] said, 'If you were on the record, you got inducted; if you weren't on the record, you didn't,' and would I come along and hang out and watch them get inducted? I was like, 'Dude, that's so typical!' It makes for the same kind of mentality as a guy watching some other guy fuck his girlfriend. I just said, 'I'm flattered and I'm proud of you guys and I wish you well. I'll be there if I'm being inducted, but if I'm gonna watch, then I've got better things to do.'" Mustaine adds, "To say that I'm not on the record, well, I'd say that there are 40 million fans with Megadeth and Metallica records in their collections that would say that Dave is on the Metallica records because my name's on there [in the songwriting credits], but I guess Lars never really looked past the word 'Ulrich.' He just stopped there and read it again, over and over and over! Bottom line is, I'm going to get into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame one way or another and he can't keep me out! When I do, I'm going to ask him to induct us and I'm gonna give eggs to everyone in the front row! [Laughs]"

Classic Rock reports: Joe Lynn Turner has exclusively spoken to Classic Rock about Ritchie Blackmore's reaction to Over The Rainbow, the band featuring Turner (vocals), Jurgen Blackmore (guitar), Greg Smith (bass), Paul Morris (keyboards) and Bobby Rondinelli (drums)."At first Ritchie was fine about it all. Then certain people two of them who are very close to him started to put ideas into his head. Then Ritchie suddenly became very antagonistic. Things got so bad that he insisted Jurgen his own son couldn't use the name 'Blackmore'. Jurgen's full name is Jurgen Richard Blackmore it says so on his birth certificate. "So, he ended up sending a copy of that to Ritchie, to prove he had every right to the name. Thankfully, that's all behind us now, and everything's back on an even keel."

antiMusic reports: Welcome to Singled Out! where we ask artists to tell us the inside story of their latest single. Today we have part two of a two part special where Ellsbeth tells us about two songs from their new album "Well Dressed Killing Machine". We now turn it over to Sean for today's story:We conclude today with Sean Lacefield (guitar / songwriter) who tells us about the song "Arise ": This track started as just the bridge riff. There was a little more to it but not much. I had played it for one of my guitar heroes (Bruce Boilet - Racer X, Paul Gilbert, etc.) that I had recently met. He thought it was really cool so I set out to try and finish the thought. I got about half way thru the songs completion and got an offer to have it be the intro to a Mexican ultimate fighting t.v. show called Max Fight. The show ended up not doing very well so I set out to rap it up. I did finally finish the track, passed it on to Shannon [Quamme] (lead singer of Ellsbeth) and she wrapped it up. It turned out to be in my opinion, the most epic track on the record. Who could have known? Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album
