The following story was part of the Day in Rock Report for 5/14/08 - (Gigwise) It's rather funny that the same week that the British government is reportedly looking to reclassify marijuana as a harder drug, a pop star gets away with smoking crack on video. Then again the laws have always been for the "little people," not celebrities like Amy Crackhouse. Gigwise has the story on the cracked justice: Amy Winehouse will face no further action over a video which supposedly showed her smoking crack cocaine. The singer questioned earlier this month after voluntarily attending a police station in East London. The arrest was in connection with a video that was passed to the Metropolitan Police in January. "The Crown Prosecution Service has now reviewed the case and no further action is being taken," a police spokesperson said. - more on this story
