antiMusic reports: When we heard that Bullet For My Valentine were releasing new CD, we knew that they'd be a good band to do a special week with. So we hit up their publicist and she delivered. As a result, each day this week members of the band will tell a little bit about some of the tracks off of their new CD "Scream Aim Fire." Here they are with today's song "Disappear". Matt: This was one of the early ones – actually, it was written the same day as "Scream Aim Fire," we had a good day, that day. Moose had a good analogy for what it's about… Moose: It's like, if anyone's ever seen the movie "Reservoir Dogs" by Quentin Tarantino, there's a scene in there where one of the Misters, I don't know if it's Mr. Pink or Mr. Blonde or whatever, has got some policeman tied to a chair and it's kind of like being in that situation but with the person who used to tease you or bully you. Matt: It's kind of like a "Waking The Demon-esque" theme, but being bullied and getting them back, getting vengeance and stuff. Check out tracks from the CD, learn more about the band and grab tour dates (Europe and North America) and more

antiMusic reports: Some news did come out of that Jimmy Page press conference. It looks like Led Zeppelin will be touring. Xfm has the story: Jimmy Page has said that Led Zeppelin put enough work in for a tour. Trouble is, you'll have to wait until at least September if it does happen again.Speaking to reporters in Tokyo earlier today, the guitarist said that Robert Plant's forthcoming tour with bluegrass star Alison Krauss to promote their 'Raising Sand' album would take precedence over any Led Zeppelin activity. "I can assure you the amount of work that we put into the O2 (concert), for ourselves rehearsing and the staging of it, was probably what you put into a world tour," Page told Reuters.

He's like, 'Who want it?' [In the song] he's hanging out and these f**king idiots are always at it. If you want it, come get it", he said.

TMZ reports: Diana Ross pissed off a crowd of 40,000 at the 2008 Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival on Saturday, where she was booed and heckled by Jamaicans attending the festival at in Montego Bay -- after organizers told them that "to honor Miss Ross' wishes, she will not be shown on the monitors." That news was greeted with widespread hissing. Oh no she didn't!Patrons in the stadium-sized arena were unable to see her, so they wanted to put her performance up on the big screen. A concert organizer said, "It was at the eleventh hour that her manager said she wouldn't allow us to IMAG (In Vivo Imaging) her performance and, if any cameras were present, she would not go onstage." Attendees paid from $80 to $307 to attend the concert, where Ross, who was reportedly paid $300,000 for the gig, performed an hour-long set with fellow headliners Mary Mary, Billy Ocean and KoKo Taylor. Hisses turned to full-out boos when Ross started her set with Supremes hits -- and the crowd beyond the first section couldn't see her -- and the booing continued throughout her set.

Metal Underground reports: DISTURBED is looking at a late May release for its fourth studio album, titled "Indestructible". A single is likely to surface at radio stations sometime in March, although the song itself has yet to be finalized. The group is reportedly working on a number of promotional ideas to support the record. Singer David Draiman, a strong proponent of making music a purely digital product, told The Pulse of Radio that the band will nevertheless add a lot of extra features to the CD. "I definitely am all for any record companies being as aggressive as they can about moving towards just completely digital-based media," he said. "But we will continue to try and do things, and we're still going to do things this record cycle as well, to try and make it where there's a reason to buy it that's beyond what we're doing just musically."

Lambgoat reports: As expected, Trustkill Records has responded to recent comments made by Hopesfall regarding the label. As you may recall, as part of their recent break-up announcement, Hopesfall drummer Jason Trabue stated that "I hate Trustkill and its owner. Hahahaha. He's not the reason we broke up but I (we) do hate him."Soon thereafter, Trabue was interviewed by Ryan's Rock Show and claimed, among other things, that Trustkill left Hopesfall $20,000 in debt. Ryan's Rock Show has since conducted an interview with Trustkill president Josh Grabelle, during which Grabelle responded: "[Trabue] does not speak a shred of truth... I heard those guys got into some pretty hardcore drugs... and they are just miserable."

Lambgoat reports: This past weekend From Autumn To Ashes drummer Jeff Gretz broke two bones in his foot. Gretz has issued the following statement:"Last night of UK. Show goes great as all of the previous ones have. We've broken even on expenses with 3 weeks of tour left. This is great. Spirits are high. After the set the bus is loaded we're saying goodbye to Hundred Reasons and taking pictures. I'm walking in between the side of the bus and the club -- tight fit, it's dark – and an inconsistency in the sidewalk causes me to lose balance. I can't fall completely over, because I fall into the bus. I land on the ground straight down onto my ankle. I hear and feel a distinct crack. "Are you okay?". "No. No, I'm not." They help me up and usher me into the lower lounge of the bus. Not much ice in the club. Anthony, our tour manager, gets me some cubes wrapped in a napkin and I try to ice it down. No "visible" damage. Nothing feels out of place with some cursory pokes around the area. Feeling in the extremities, everything is moving. It's sore but not terrible. For now. I go to bed, I'm gonna sleep this off. No such luck. It feels like someone is holding my foot in the mouth of hell itself. I retire to the the TV lounge. I watch a movie. This thing hurts. I take off my shoe, my foot looks like someone inflated it with a bike pump. Everyone that comes into the TV lounge says the same thing, "Holy shit!" Really, that's exactly what everyone says. OK, I'm not sleeping at this point, No ibuprofen, no ice on hand. I'm toughing this one out, there's a lot of DVD's here, I'm gonna watch 'em!

PR reports: Timed to coincide with Kurt Cobain's 41st birth anniversary, KURT COBAIN ABOUT A SON is an intimate and moving portrait of the late musician and artist Kurt Cobain as told entirely in his own words. The film, which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2006, was nominated for a 2007 Independent Spirit Award, was screened at numerous top international film festivals around the world, and will be released on DVD from Shout! Factory on February 19, 2008, the day before Cobain's birthday. The DVD also contains a behind-the-scenes featurette and has a suggested retail price of $19.99.Not since the late 1960s and early 1970s has there been a musical artist who so completely spoke for an entire generation. After the breakup of the Beatles and the tragic deaths of Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin, there were few music icons left of their magnitude – until the meteoric success of Nirvana and their breakthrough Nevermind. Following Kurt Cobain's suicide three years later, Kurt became the icon for Generation X and remains so for today's youth as well.
