antiMusic reports: When you think of Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, the last thing you assume is that he is capable of giving someone a beat down. That's probably true, but add some security dude to the mix and you're looking a lawsuit waiting to happen. According to TMZ that's exactly what transpired: Wentz is being sued by a guy who claims the makeup-wearing, emo rocker and his security beat him at a Fall Out Boy show last year.According to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Andy Kallas claims was watching the boys perform at Schuba's Tavern in Chicago, when Wentz and his peeps beat him to a pulp for several minutes. Kallas claims he suffered "serious injuries to his head, mouth and face." The way the lawsuit reads, the attack was totally unprovoked. But here's the deal. We're told Kallas was loud, obnoxious and heckling the band before the incident.

Blabbermouth reports: Lockup isn't the ideal place to rehearse for a tour, but it looks like Scott Weiland has no choice in the matter as he will serve his jail sentence before the Stone Temple Pilots reunion tour kicks off in May 17th. Blabbermouth has the story: Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland was sentenced on Monday (April 28) to 192 hours in jail for a November 2007 DUI in Los Angeles. Entertainment Weekly has now learned that the singer will serve his sentence, which the judge ordered he do before May 28, and be out in time to commence the band's 65-date reunion tour, which kicks off May 17 in Columbus, Ohio. Weiland's lawyer confirmed this to Entertainment Weekly via Weiland's spokesperson. A statement from Weiland should be released soon, along with further details.

antiMusic reports: Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland took to his MySpace page to give fans an update on his plans which not only include the STP reunion tour, but also a jail term (which he didn't mention), a autobiography and he revealed that his new solo album will be a double disc affair that will touch upon rock, punk and R&B. Here is what he had to say: "I felt the need to check in and let everyone know what the latest and greatest is...as you know, my original band, STP, have reunited and are gearing up for our 4 month tour of the U.S. this summer. I'm really excited to be back in cohoots with my old buddies and share that tingly feeling when we perform. "I've been crazy busy since coming off tour and never get the chance to sleep in anymore! I have been working on my solo record, which will be a double album due for a November release. It's gonna be awesome, with many different musical influences like rock, punk, R&B as well as an eclectic blend that we've come up with over the years. Can't wait for everyone to hear it. I'm also in the process of writing my autobiography along with famed writer David Ritz, also due out toward the end of the year. It will be a collection of stories, experiences and lessons throughout my life. Definitely a good read."

antiMusic reports: Leona Lewis isn't wasting any time cashing in on her 15 minutes of fame. Usually popstars wait a month after their album tops the charts to put out an overpriced clothing line, but not Leona. She's striking while the iron is hot! That's the rumor at least. Idolator has the story: The singer always wears non-leather shoes and maintains a vegetarian lifestyle. But now Lewis is rumoured to be launching her own clothing range full of ethically sourced products to give fellow vegans more of a choice when stocking their wardrobes. A source tells British magazine Hello, "She's always adored animals since she was a little girl and has been a vegetarian since the age of 12... It was for this reason that she is determined to set up her own ethical fashion range and sell the goods at high street prices." [Notice the key words here: "high street prices" a.k.a. bilk her fans]

antiMusic reports: TMZ thinks they know why Paula Abdul screwed up her lines on American Idol, seems that Paula may have been at the bottle. Here is the TMZ report: Paula's loopy antics were the highlight of an otherwise boring "American Idol" episode -- and TMZ has learned a mid-afternoon cocktail may be to blame.Abdul was bubbly when she left Maggiano's around 1:00 PM yesterday and had to have an assistant shut her up. Spies inside tell TMZ that Abdul was served at least one martini while in the restaurant. Must have been a stiff drink or she's a major lightweight -- "Idol" didn't go live for another four hours.

antiMusic reports: Blood apparently is thicker than red red wine. UB40 didn't have to look far to replace their departed singer Ali Campbell. In fact, they just looked to Ali's brother Duncan to fill the slot. Duncan has joined the group to replace his brother and he will reportedly share the vocal duties on the road with reggae singer Maxi Priest, according to the BBC which also reported: "He said he asked for Ali's blessing before stepping in, but stressed they were not otherwise on speaking terms. 'I told him if he objected strongly, I wouldn't do it,' Duncan said. Ali replied that he was 'disappointed but didn't object'"
