antiMusic reports: Heart frontwoman Ann Wilson
is releasing her very first solo album, Hope and Glory, next week. The
album not only showcases Ann's amazing talent but she also got a little
help from her friends including Elton John, Gretchen Wilson, Alison Krauss,
Rufus Wainwright, and of course her sister Nancy. This week we get a little
preview with Ann telling us a little bit about a few of the tracks on the
CD. Here is Ann with today's song: Isolation
For me this brilliant John Lennon song
was always a very personal, very human response to being messed with --
to being totally kicked around. It's about what it feels like to be on
"the human trampoline," as Paul Simon would say.
Because my own response to being treated
that way is always to get very isolated, this song means a lot to me. Recording
"Isolation" meant even more because I cut that vocal and that track only
a few days after our mother passed away. That's actually the first take.
We didn't add much of anything. We didn't have to.- Preview
a couple tracks off the CD, grab tour dates and more right here!

antiMusic reports: Could the long rumored
Led Zeppelin reunion really be happening? First it was an anonymous source
saying that Plant, Page, and Jones were in talks for a one-off reunion
show and now apparently Robert Plant is talking to random people on the
street and confirming the reunion. Of course another anonymous source now
claims to also know the date of such a reunion.
In a story that's a bit hard to believe,
someone emailed NME.com saying that he or she spoke to Robert Plant in
London on Wednesday and the Led Zeppelin frontman confirmed the reunion
plans and said that he was on his way to a meeting with Jimmy Page and
John Paul Jones.
The fan reportedly walked up to Plant and
asked him about the reunion and maybe Robert has been on a deserted island
this past week as the rumor mill has been churning at full speed because
he reportedly asked the fan, "How did you find out about this?" And even
more unbelievable he supposedly told the fan, "Well we've got a band meeting
about it this afternoon about it. There's not a lot to work out as it's
only going to be one-off gig."- now
about that date for the reunion
