PR reports: Days Difference is set to embark
on its first major tour as a supporting act since the band's inception
in support of their October 3rd debut release "Numbers" on Black Dog Recordings.
"Numbers" was recorded at Red Cell Studio with producer Jim Anderson at
the helm and is distributed by Redeye.
The CD release contains a brand new exclusive
bonus track not available anywhere else or on previous versions of the
CD. Days Difference believes music is about people with every song they
write. "Experience, conviction, and the passions and sorrows of life really
define who people are," says vocalist Jeremy Smith. "Really, it's the things
we and the people around us go through every day that inspire us to write
and play. We want to create something tangible, something our audience
can relate to. That's what we are about." Drummer, Jonathan Smith, adds,
"Our band's name, Days Difference, is the idea that everyone should live
each day like its their last. Live life to the fullest. Don't regret not
pursuing what you really love. Take risks, jump at challenges."-

PR reports: MVD has set a October 30th release
for Elvis Presley Destination Vegas DVD. Here is a little about the release:
To mark the 30th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley, this unauthorized
critical review uses previously unseen private footage of Elvis Presley,
and classic original songs, to tell the story of the King of Rock 'n' Roll.
Many documentaries have told the story
of the early life of Presley, his army career or his death, but Destination
Vegas is the first and definitive documentary to tell the story of Elvis's
residency in Vegas, a town that was to become synonymous with him.
Using previously unseen and unknown private
footage, we peel away from the facade of the formal camera to explore a
defining, yet controversial chapter in Elvis' life, which not only stifled
him, but also defined him as the superstar that he would forever be known.
Bonus Materials: Recordings of private
and public conversations Elvis had around the Vegas years Elvis photo

This two-disc all acoustic live
release is simply amazing. Coupled with Tim Reynolds, Dave Matthews weaves
in and out of material spanning his recording career, as well as a few
unreleased songs and covers of two songs written by the unmistakable Daniel
Lanois. (4 stars)

Ken Hensley describes this as
an opus, rather than an opera or concept record. Blood on the Highway is
in fact sort of a diary and he has just not told his story, he has delivered
a superb record that recalls the glory days of his earlier works (solo
and with Uriah Heep). (4.5 stars)

There's plenty here to dig if
you like Lovich. She blows a little rudimentary sax on "Joan," acts the
dervish on the New Wave polka of "Say When" and gets a little teary on
a song for her mother, "Too Tender (To Touch)." (3 stars)
