Here is Adam with today's song: First, Love - I hadn't made a hip hop track for a while and was fiending to. This track started off just being something for me to get my head in a different place, but once I added the piano to it, it became very clear to us that this had potential to be the opening track for the album, which is exactly what it became. antiMusic reports: Hawthorne Heights guitarist Casey Calvert died Friday night in his sleep according to a statment from the band. A cause of death was not known at press time. The band released the following statement on their website: Today is probably the worst day ever. Its with our deepest regrets that we have to write this. Casey Calvert passed away in his sleep last night. We found out this afternoon before sound-check. We've spent the entire day trying to come to grips with this and figure out as much as possible. At this time we're not sure what exactly happened. Just last night he was joking around with everyone before he went to bed. We can say with absolute certainty that he was not doing anything illegal.

Gigwise reports: Fall Out Boy main man Pete Wentz has denied he is the latest victim of a leaked sex tape after footage of him writhing with a naked girl appeared on the internet. The video was posted on Youtube but it turns out that the clip is actually from a short film which Wentz starred in. In a statement on Fall Out Boy's website he wrote: "Just wanted to put the word out on the streets/the internet. There is no Pete Wentz sex tape in existence. About a year and a half ago I took part in an indie gore/horror short film as a favour to my friend Nathan - called goodnight moon. Either way I'm not into being an actor or having a sex tape either sooooooooo (sic), hopefully u can deal with it."

Flea's $4.8 million home "burnt to a crisp" according to a text message the bassist sent out. His was one of the 49 homes lost in the area in the blaze as of 5:00 PM PST Sunday night. "So far 4,650 acres burned in the fire which has been determined to have been caused by humans. Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Rick Dominguez says that the fire broke out Saturday morning along a dirt road off a paved highway, and that investigators are still deciding if it was started intentionally," according to Salem-News.com. The LA Times report: Michael Balzary, a.k.a. Flea, had purchased a home for more than $10 million in Malibu last year, but the house that burned was another he owned in the hills west of Corral Canyon. Contact Music reports: Sir Paul McCartney once fell out with Michael Jackson because he refused to give him a pay raise. The pair became close friends after recording a string of hit duets in the 1980s but fell out when Jackson - who purchased The Beatles' catalogue of songs Northern Songs in 1985 - refused to increase the songwriter's royalty rates. But MCCartney eventually realised he was financially sound so let go of his grudge against Jackson. He says, "(Michael Jackson) was like a family friend. Bite to eat, hang out and all of that. We fell out once he got Northern Songs. "I put it to him and said, 'Look you are now historically placed to really give the Lennon/MCCartney writing duo their just desserts. They've been working for this company 30 years, they've never had a rise.' "I must have put it to him about three times. And I just never heard back.

Gigwise reports: My Bloody Valentine are the latest act to be contemplating a "Radiohead style" download release of their new album. The band are currently working on their first long player since 1991's 'Loveless' and it seems they've been inspired by Thom Yorke and co. Their manager Vinita Joshi told Billboard: "At the moment, all I can say is that Kevin (Shields) is getting the band back together and they will go into the studio next month to work on the new record. "The plan is that they will release the album themselves via the Internet, but there will also probably be a vinyl release." However, she added that MBV are unlikely to follow Radio head's 'pay what you like' stance for the download.
