(PR) Americana artist, Lara Ewen will be performing as part of a benefit concert supporting Heifer.org on Saturday, June 2nd in Oyster Bay, NY. Her performance will be part of the Oyster Bay Music Festivals Hoedown for a Heifer, which takes place from noon to dusk on 61 East Main Street in Oyster Bay. Proceeds from the performance and the festival will be donated to Heifer.org.Heifer.org purchases cows and chickens for families in developing nations in order to provide them with a sustainable source of food. Local businesses such as Frannys restaurant in Brooklyn along with companies such as ReadyMade Magazine and Method cleaning products will be sponsoring the event.
