My Chemical Death Threats
TMZ reports: A Virginia cafe owner has received death threats after rock bands My Chemical Romance and Muse got salmonella food poisoning at his restaurant. Welcome to the brown parade!

After a gig at the nearby College of William and Mary on April 28, the bands stopped for a bite at Glenn Gormley's Green Leafe Cafe. Shortly afterwards, the musicians (and other patrons) got sick, which forced MCR and Muse to cancel several dates on their tour. Since then, Gormley says angry My Chemical Romance fans have been leaving him death threats. Holy crap! While the Health Department is investigating the situation, Gormley won't go into details of the threats.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

FMQB reports: New legislation was introduced today to the U.S. Senate, which could wipe out the Copyright Royalty Board (CRB) decision on Internet radio royalty rates. Senators Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Sam Brownback (R-KA) have introduced the Internet Radio Equality Act, which would vacate the CRB decision on increasing royalty fees. The bill would set a 2006-2010 royalty rate for webcasters at the same rate currently paid by satellite radio (7.5 percent of revenue). KNAC reports: Former Quiet Riot/Ozzy Osbourne/current DIO bassist Rudy Sarzo has issued a statement in response to a recent press release from Quiet Riot singer Kevin DuBrow in which he explains his reason why he "declined to participate" in the upcoming documentary about late Ozzy Osbourne/Quiet Riot guitarist Randy Rhoads.

Sarzo spoke to KNAC.COM contributor Deb Rao saying, "...I want to highly stress that Dakota Film’s Randy Rhoads documentary, that is being directed by Peter Margolis, is not based on my book, Off The Rails or any book for that matter. Within Temptation American Debut
PR reports: Holland’s award-winning band Within Temptation is set to embark on their first visit to North America this May in anticipation of their U.S. debut album, The Heart of Everything, due out on Roadrunner Records on July 24. The band is a staple on the European music scene, having stemmed from a loyal homeland following and a strong footing in the modern gothic rock community. A solid lineup, Within Temptation is vocalist Sharon den Adel, guitarists Robert Westerholt and Ruud Jolie, keyboardist Martijn Spierenburg, drummer Stephen van Haestregt and bassist Jeroen van Veen. The first single from The Heart of Everything is entitled, “What Have You Done,” and includes guest vocals by Keith Caputo, vocalist of Life of Agony.
