(Contact Music) Guitarist JASON ISBELL has left cult rockers DRIVE-BY TRUCKERS to pursue a solo career. Isbell, one of three singer/songwriters in the US band, joined Drive-By Truckers in 2001 and played on their last three albums. He releases his solo debut Sirens Of The Ditch in July (07). Drive-By Truckers frontman Patterson Hood says, "It's with a wide range of emotions and feelings that I'm announcing that we have parted ways with Jason.
