Gene Simmons “Ass”vertising
PR reports: Gene Simmons has always had a firm belief in the notion that it’s not necessarily what’s up front that counts…he also counts the backs. He believes women are beautiful and the world is a better place for it. He believes women should be looked at and adored. And in light of that spirit, he has decided to unabashedly and unapologetically create the first ever “Ass”vertising campaign to launch season 2 of his hit real-life A&E series “Gene Simmons Family Jewels”. Gene will be joined by 25 scantily clad women at Hard Rock Cafe New York in Times Square where his model entourage - wearing underwear that reads, “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” across their rears - will be handing out branded panties to the people of NYC. After about 30 minutes at Hard Rock, Gene and his girls will make their way down to street level where they’ll walk through the busy streets to a chartered Double Decker Bus. From there, they will hit various hot spots around NYC to spread the word – and the panties.

Thursday, March 22, 2007 12:00pm – 2:00pm HARD ROCK CAFE NEW YORK 1501 Broadway (Corner of 43rd) Times Square New York, NY- Click Here for the Full Story

Today's Reviews
....MorleyView: Aqualung<
Aqualung is, of course, British-born Matt Hales who writes, sings and produces the material, along with help from his brother Ben and wife Kim. I caught up with Matt as he landed in the U.S. for a quick promo tour.- Read the full Aqualung MorleyView

....Abigail Williams - Legend
I was originally suckered into buying this EP because I was convinced it would be a neat forgery of two separate sounds with a touch of creativity, but that's the exact opposite of what Legend is. Legend is just a chunk of trash with few good moments. - Read the full Abigail Williams - Legend review

....Sneaky Thieves - Accident(s)
Somewhere in a land far far away (opium den?) Thom Yorke is jealously cursing Sneaky Thieves. Accident(s) does exactly as Yorke wishes he could, if the success of OK Computer and his sudden propensity for cackling did not handcuff him.- Read the full Sneaky Thieves - Accident(s) review

....Light This City - Facing the Thousand
This CD is solid, well-crafted metal, and that's all there is to it. Particularly if you're into bands like Soilwork or Arch Enemy, you need to have Facing the Thousand on your CD rack. - Read the full Light This City - Facing the Thousand review
