Kid Rock Assaults Woman?
Jam! reports: A 28-year-old Milford, Calif. woman claims Kid Rock assaulted her. According to the Oakland Press, a report has been filed with the Oakland County Sheriff's Department and the alleged assault is under investigation.
In the article, Oakland County Undersheriff Michael McCabe said the rock star invited the unnamed woman and a man to his home to listen to music after meeting them at a bar-restaurant in Clarkston, Calif. McCabe said members of the group admitted to drinking the night of the alleged assault. According to the allegations, the woman attempted to leave at which point Kid Rock became enraged because he wanted her to spend the night. It is further alleged the musician grabbed her by the back of the neck and pushed her towards her car, causing her to fall into a snow bank. Lily Allen Meltsdown At SxSW
pr-inside reports: British singer LILY ALLEN turned hypocrite at the South By Southwest festival on Wednesday night (14MAR07) after turning up to a show drunk just weeks after insisting she wasn't a heavy boozer. The SMILE singer performed a lacklustre late show in Austin, Texas which started with her staggering onstage with a bottle of beer and a cigarette, apologising to fans for being drunk "because it's 11 o'clock." She then blasted her show's co-sponsor, British music magazine New Musical Express, after editors reportedly chose to put rock group MUSE on the cover of the magazine instead of a photoshoot featuring Allen, THE GOSSIP's BETH DITTO and KAREN O of the YEAH YEAH YEAHS to celebrate NME's annual "cool list" in November last year (06).

The singer hissed, "Everyone from the NME can f**k off!" And she picked on one reporter at the show, giggling he had "the smallest penis ever seen." She ended her showcase reminding the sold-out 1,500-capacity crowd, "I just want to say once again how much I hate NME."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

AP reports: Rodrigo y Gabriela, known for their dueling acoustic guitar instrumentals blending heavy-metal riffs with Latin rhythms, have canceled several U.S. appearances because of a problem with a work visa.

The duo of Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Quintero formed in Mexico City but moved to Dublin, Ireland, after growing frustrated with the late '90s Mexican music scene... They are waiting for renewal of Sanchez's work visa, which has been put on hold because he has a name similar to a wanted criminal, the group's management said Wednesday. 2&2 Slayer Part II
PR reports: As promised here is the 2nd part of antiMusic/Thrashpit's Billy Gamble's conversation with metal legend Kerry King of Slayer. In this interview Kerry discusses Pantera, historical concerts for the band and some of their recent CDs and how they will stand the test of time. In these excerpts Kerry reveals plans for another Unholy Alliance Tour this year.

antiMusic: If you could tour with any band past or present, living or dead, who would it be and why? ** Kerry King: I'd go with Pantera again, that was one of the most fun tours I've heard been on. We did the last Pantera tours in the States and we toured with Damageplan here and there. We did a sort of Canadian tour with them. It was one of the last things they did. Dime was one of my best friends in the business. So I think it'd probably be Slayer, Pantera, and Black Label Society, so you'd get me and my two best friend guitar players out on tour! [Laughs]

…Kerry King: What we want to do in the fall is have a second Unholy Alliance Tour. *** antiMusic: Who do you think is going to be on that with Slayer? *** Kerry King: I have no idea. I haven't heard any strong enough second bands to inspire me to want to it. I don't want to have Slayer and three that are Chimaira sized, even though I love Chimaira I need a second on the bill. I need to make it an event. Slayer with a club show is an event. We need somebody at the intermediate level. Like last year Lamb of God was perfect.
