(CMJ) Centenary Music Holdings, a subsidiary of the Universal Music Group, announced today that it has agreed to purchase the UK-based Sanctuary Group for a sum of approximately 44.5 million pounds (roughly 88 million US dollars). The deal comes on the heels of an announcement this past April that the struggling Sanctuary would cease to release new music in the United States, though their cataloging operations would continue as normal.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
