(punkbands) House & Parish is a new band with some legendary members. It features artists from last decade's most influential emo/post hardcore bands, a time when emo wasn't a hairstyle or a threatening report on the 6 o'clock news. With Jason Gnewikow of The Promise Ring, Brian Malone from The Gloria Record, John Herguth from The Love Scene, and Scott Winegard of Texas is the Reason, House and Parish shows major potential to re-insert some hardcore feeling into an otherwise fashion-concious indie rock scene.
