(Contact Music) GIRLSCHOOL founder KELLY JOHNSON has died following a six-year battle with cancer. The British guitarist passed away from complications caused by cancer of the spine on Sunday (15Jul07). Johnson quit Girlschool after the release of the band's fourth album Play Dirty in 1984. She rejoined the group in 1993, before quitting the music business in 2000. - more on this story
