(Filter) Garbage is not a band afraid to fail. In the midst of their Absolute Garbage collection being released, the band is looking to record new material in 2008. However, don't expect the same old formula on this new record. In an attempt to stray away from repeating what fans have come to expect, Garbage plans to introduce a more simplistic and organic sound. Drummer Bruce Vig described it as an interweaving of Mazzy Star and Leonard Cohen meets Neil Young. - more on this story
