(TuneLab) SoundExchange executive director Jon Simson yesterday testified before Congress that SoundExchange will not enforce the new royalty rates for Internet radio stations. Webcasters will stay online while new rates are being negotiated. Otherwise, most small webcasters would have had to shut down this coming Monday. [so you won't be stuck with only being able to listen to crappy corporate Top 40 radio for now, go look at the Billboard charts to see just how crappy it is and be thankful for net radio!] - more on this story
