(Contact Music) The stars of AMERICAN IDOL have landed their own jeans line. The TV talent show's bosses at FreeMantle Media have struck a new deal with Lyric Jeans to create a lyric-inspired American Idol branded apparel line for department stores. The new jeans will feature lyrics made famous by The Beatles, Janis Joplin, David Bowie, Marvin Gaye and The Bee Gees printed on them. [So you slap lyrics of anyone that has ever the victim to karaoke on a pair of jeans and brand it with American Idol? No wonder the world hates us]
