Net Radio Royalty Cap
07/03/07
.
(TuneLab) SoundExchange has proposed a cap on the minimum fees charged against royalties for recordings played on Internet Radio. Payments would be capped at $2,500 per service instead of the $500 minimum fee per station or channel which is set to go into effect on July 15th. Negotiations are currently taking place with small commercial and non-commercial webcasters who provide below-market rates under the terms of the Small Webcaster Settlement Act. - more rock news
