(Launch) Rod Stewart has been taken to hospital after slipping over at a gig in Manchester last night (June 28).
The 62-year-old needed 10 stitches in his leg after he fell on a step at the beginning of his City Of Manchester Stadium gig.Despite the slip, the singer carried on performing before he was eventually treated by a doctor today (June 29).
