(FMQB) As part of EMI Group's massive restructuring plan, Capitol Records and Virgin Records will merge in the U.S. The labels will now be known as The Capitol Music Group, and Virgin Records chief Jason Flom has been promoted to head the new endeavor as Chairman and CEO. Flom will report directly to EMI Group CEO Eric Nicoli. Andy Slater, who had been chief executive of Capitol Records, has stepped down.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
