Ryan Adams Injury Serious
NME.com reports: RYAN ADAMS could lose 20 per cent of the movement in his wrist following a horrific fall in LIVERPOOL that has forced the cancellation of his NME AWARDS SHOW next month.

On Sunday (January 25) Adams called NME.COM to give his only interview about the accident, which happened at the Liverpool Royal Court (January 22). Adams fell six feet into the orchestra pit and fractured his left wrist during ‘Shadowlands’. His leg is also injured and his microphone smashed his lip as he fell.

He told NME.COM: "I heard the noise but I didn’t feel the pain. The sound of my wrist breaking off my arm was really loud. It popped. People heard it. I think you could hear the break. I remember thinking ‘OK, my neck is fine’, then making sure my back was OK. Then people came to help me. Then I looked at my arm and went ‘Oh s***!’ To begin with I thought it was just swollen but after a first glance I knew exactly what had happened. I was thinking ‘This is it, it’s f***ed’."

By the time the medics arrived, Adams was close to passing out. He continued: "By the time I walked off and saw it, it was so f***ing heinous. These ER people had to cut off all my bracelets. When they were cutting them off my 1974 tattoo, blood was coming out of my skin even though there was no cut. It was trickling through my pores. That was when I almost fainted. Some people couldn’t look at it. "- Click Here for the Full Story

Ozzfest
Blabbermouth reports: A HATEBREED forum moderator has confirmed reports that SLIPKNOT and HATEBREED are in talks to co-headline the second stage at this year's Ozzfest (as first reported here on January 25). Writing in response to forum postings about the bands that are scheduled to take part in the festival, the moderator said, "Right now all of this is rumors except the SLIPKNOT/HATEBREED co-headline thing, I dont see a problem with HATEBREED going before SLIPKNOT 'cause SLIPKNOT is a multiplatinum group regardless of if they suck. That is how the industry works."

As previously reported, Ozzy Osbourne is expected to top a main-stage Ozzfest bill this year that will probably include veteran British heavy metallers JUDAS PRIEST. Other rumored acts for the festival include DAMAGEPLAN and VELVET REVOLVER. - Click Here for the Full Story

James Brown Arrested
AP reports: AIKEN, S.C. - Soul singer James Brown was arrested Wednesday on domestic violence charges, authorities said.

Brown, 70, was booked into the county jail and was to appear at a bond hearing, said jail supervisor Nicholas Gallam.

Brown, who lives in South Carolina, served a 2 1/2-year prison term after a 1988 arrest on drug and assault charges and was convicted of a drug-related offense in 1998. He was granted a pardon by the state in May. - Click Here for the Full Story

Kid Crow
Net Music Countdown reports: Though they're not making the love connection any more, Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock plan on recording an entire album of duets.

While an item last year, the two had a breakout hit with the ballad "Picture" and are going to reteam in attempt to capture even more lightning in a bottle. Or at least on tape. Or hard disc.

Kid Rock said, "We love to make music together, and we have so much fun doing it."- Click Here for the Full Story

Vinyl is cool, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Disturbed Singer
Digital Noise reports: Disturbed singer David Draiman has broken the silence surrounding the departure of their bassist Fuzz in mid-December.

Fuzz's departure from Disturbed was a long time coming, according to Draiman.

"I don't want to drag anyone through the mud, there were just personality conflicts," Draiman told MTV.com, breaking over a month of silence. "It wasn't a relationship that could continue anymore, and we had to go our separate ways. When you're in a band, chemistry is very important. But we wish him all the best. We bear him no ill will."

The band is currently in the process of auditioning new bass players and are narrowing down the field of interested players and plan to bring four to six of them to Chicago in February for tryouts. - Click Here for the Full Story
