Justin Bieber Vs Former Israeli Soldier

Justin Bieber is being sued by former Israeli soldier Moshe Benabou who claims the popstar punched him and berated him while he worked for Bieber as a bodyguard, according to TMZ.

They report: Benabou claims he worked for Bieber from March 2011 to Oct. 2012 and the popstar berated him and punched him in the chest multiple times during a disagreement about how to handle a member of his entourage.

Benabou is seeking unspecified damages for assault and battery as well as more than $420,000 in unpaid overtime.

But sources in Bieber's camp tell TMZ ... Moshe is nothing more than a "disgruntled employee looking for money." They say the claim that Bieber struck him is "absurd."

As for why Moshe was fired, The sources told TMZ that Benabou fired for telling multiple lies including that he had worked closely with Justin Timberlake before being hired by Bieber. More details here.

Martha Wash Covering Aerosmith Classic

(Radio.com) In 1982, when The Weather Girls struck chart gold with their hit "It's Raining Men," it would have been hard to imagine one of the members of the duo covering Aerosmith decades later.

But – surprise! – Martha Wash has a new solo album out, and it features one rather unexpected song: Aerosmith's "Dream On."

Wash told Radio.com that she was surprised when her manager suggested she record the classic. "He told me that I needed to do a cover. I wasn't sure I wanted to do that. But he came up with 'Dream On.' I'd always liked the song. I said, 'OK, that can work!' It's a very well known song. But my thinking is, as long as you can do it as well as the original artist – or better – then, cool! The way I did it was slightly different from the way Steven Tyler sings it, but I wanted to do my own interpretation. I knew people would be surprised that I was doing it." more on this story

Alicia Keys Launching Set The World On Fire Tour

Alicia Keys will be launching her "Set The World On Fire Tour" of North American tour this spring

The 24-city tour will be kicking off on March 7th in Seattle, WA and conclude on April 18th in Chicago.

The tour will feature support from Miguel and Keys will be touring to promote her latest album, Girl on Fire.

Elton John Changing Up Forthcoming Album

(Radio.com) Elton John's upcoming album is still expected out in late May, but under a new name and with revised material.

According to a post on John songwriting partner Bernie Taupin's website, the longtime pair will head back into the studio later this month for two more weeks of work on John's 30th album. The album, formerly called The Diving Board, has now been dubbed Voyeur, "due to what the guys regard as a fly on the wall approach to many of the songs," according to the lyricist.

"Seeing that we're in no rush to get this record out there, we just felt the bug to get back in and cut some more material," Taupin said on his site. more on this story

Train and OneRepublic To Warm Fans Up For Super Bowl

From January 29 to February 1, Train will act as the first official house band for CBS' The Talk when the ladies take over Super Bowl Park in New Orleans.

Fans get an extra bonus when frontman Pat Monahan helps out as co-host alongside Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler, Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen and Sheryl Underwood on Tuesday, January 29.

Daughter Set Album Release Date

Daughter have set April 30th North and South American and March 18th European release dates for their debut album If You Leave.

Daughter will supporting the album with an upcoming sold-out tour in the UK and a North American tour. Dates will be announced soon.

The album was recorded over a period of months at home and in various spaces across London. Production was overseen by Daughter guitarist Igor Haefeli with additional production from Rodaidh McDonald (The xx, Adele) and Jolyon Vaughan Thomas (Maps), and mixed by Ken Thomas (Sigur Ros, M83) at High Bank Studio and mastered by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road Studios. more on this story

OneRepublic Go Behind The Scenes of New Single

(Radio.com) OneRepublic are still riding high off their last single "Feel Again"and have just released a brand new song called "If I Lose Myself."

The track was recorded in Santorini, Greece, a beautiful island south of Athens in the Mediterranean Sea. In a behind-the-scenes video of the making of the track the band can be seen sailing, riding 4-wheelers, and living the "Good Life" while recording the single.

At one point, Ryan Tedder tells the band that they'll record part of the song with Garage Band which is a program associated with Mac computers. The Mavericks Push Back Album Release

The Mavericks have pushed back the release date for their first new album in seven years, In Time.

The 14-track album was produced by lead singer Raul Malo and Niko Bolas (Neil Young, Warren Zevon) will now be released on February 26th instead of the originally scheduled January 29th.

The project will be released in conjunction with the band's 20th anniversary of their first major label album release.

The band have also lined up a performance on The Grand Ole Opry on January 19th in Nashville as well as a sold out show at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow, Scotland on January 22nd. more on this story

The Band Perry Releasing New Album in April

The Band Perry has set an April 2nd release date for their as-yet-untitled sophomore album.

The lead single from the album, "Better Dig Two," has already sold over 650,000 downloads and hit the Top 10.

The group kicked off a mini tour last night in Green Bay, WI. Tonight they will play in Moline, IL and they will perform in Springfield, MO on Saturday (1/13).

Gwen Stefani Leaks No Doubt Tour Plans

Morrissey Debuts Action is My Middle Name On Letterman

(Radio.com) After being forced to postpone a U.S tour last year after his mother fell ill, legendary British singer Morrissey launched his rescheduled American jaunt with a rousing and dramatic performance of "Action is My Middle Name" on Late Night with David Letterman this week.

Trump wishing his on-again off-again nemesis Rosie and her wife Michelle Rounds well after news broke that they are welcome a baby girl, Dakota, into their family. Donald telling AJ, "I think that's great, I am very happy for her." This after Donald first extended an olive branch to Rosie when she announced she had a heart attack.

Earlier in the day, Trump made headlines when he challenged Bill Maher to pay up the $ 5 million dollars he is owed. On Monday night's "Tonight Show with Jay Leno," Maher mocked Trump's offer to President Barack Obama and offered to donate $5 million to the charity of Trump's choice if he would release his own birth certificate to prove The Donald was not the "spawn of his mother having sex with orangutan" Trump's lawyer provided the proof and accepted Maher's offer. Now Trump is ready to collect, "He made the offer…I accepted his offer and he owes me $ 5 million dollars which I am going to give to charity… If doesn't pay the money we will probably sue him."

Trump also told "Extra" today that he has hired Miss Alabama, Katherine Webb, to be a judge at the next "Miss USA" pageant. Trump explaining why he chose the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback A.J. Fifty Shades of Grey Movie Will Be Rated NC-17

(Radio.com) In a recent interview, the screenwriter behind the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie says there will be sex. And lots of it, apparently.

The film's writer Kelly Marcel, who previously worked on the TV show Terra Nova, told The Sunday Times in the UK that those who loved the book will not be disappointed.

"We are 100 percent going there," Marcel told the paper. "It will be rated NC-17. It will be raunchy." But if the movie earns an NC-17 rating, what does that mean for fans?

Javelin Announce New Album and Tour Plans

Javelin have set a March 5 release date for their sophomore full-length album, Hi Beams.

Javelin (cousins George Langford and Tom Van Buskirk) recorded and mixed Hi Beams at Machine With Magnets (Pawtucket, RI) using proper microphones, a vintage mixing desk, an array of amplifiers, real plate reverb - in the traditional sense a "studio album."

Zedd Releases Clarity Video Featuring Foxes

Zedd premiered a new music video for the song "Clarity" featuring Foxes across the MTV platform.

The video was directed by Jodeb (Cypress Hill, Porter Robinson, Deftones) and the song is the title track for Zedd's debut album.
