Tupac's Mother Plans To Release His 'Entire Body of Work'

(Radio.com) More than fifteen years after his death, Tupac's recording career is still alive. The slain rapper's mother, Afeni Shakur, promises to make available his "entire body of work" with a new Estate management deal.

According to a statement released on February 13, Afeni Shakur signed a new deal with Jampol Artist Management, Inc. (JAM) to oversee Tupac's Estate, which includes music, film, name and likeness, apparel, licensing and more.

"I believe it is our responsibility to make sure that Tupac's entire body of work is made available for his fans," said Afeni Shakur, in the statement. "My son left many incomplete pieces and even more unfinished ideas. Using the blueprints he gave us, I am committed to fulfilling this duty."

Afeni did not announce any specific projects or what plan they have for completing his unfinished works. But the aim is to ensure that Tupac's art lives well beyond the rapper's years. more on this story

Lady Gaga Names Her Wheelchair

(Radio.com) To the dismay of monsters worldwide, Lady Gaga had to cancel the remaining dates of her Born This Way tour to have emergency surgery on her ailing hip.

The procedure will be followed by a significant period of downtime for recovery from what her doctor diagnosed as synovitis.

Due to the severeness of Gaga's injury, she has been forced to get around using a newly acquired wheelchair. Of course, Mother Monster did the most Lady Gaga thing possible by naming her new wheels.

Khloe Kardashian Camp Denies X Factor Firing Reports

(Hollsycoop) Rumors are swirling about Khloe Kardashian and the supposed drama happening over in Simon Cowell's "X Factor" kingdom.

But, as we're quickly discovering after just a little digging, the stories don't bare much weight. Hollyscoop has been in contact with a source close to Khloe's camp, who tells us that there is zero truth to the reports that she was canned.

Still, it remains unclear whether or not she'll decide to come back to the show next year.

"Absolutely nothing has been confirmed and no decisions have been made," the source says.

On Monday, the New York Post reported that Mario Lopez was asked to come back for Season 3, but producers held off on approaching the Kardashian due to her awkwardness and inexperience on camera.

The report—which would be consistent with the exit strategies of Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger, Cheryl Cole and Steve Jones—sparked plenty of hate whispers across the Internet.

Kim K has already been run down by TMZ at the airport, where she told the paps "a lot of people say a lot of incorrect things on the daily" and that "probably nothing" even happened between Khloe and the show in the first place.

Today Sonny tells us about his new single "Bad Girl from his new album "International". Here is the story:

"Bad Girl" is a perfect example as to why my new album is titled International.

I grew up traveling the world performing for all kinds of audiences in everything from music to theater and dance. Which in return has inspired my music choices and surely made me the artist that I am and strive to be today.

When listening to my album International you will hear how it goes through completely different genres from soul, pop, 60s brit-rock, R&B, dance etc. but still keeping all tracks bound together by a pop universe.

The song "Bad Girl" was created on both sides of the Atlantic. The track was produced in Denmark and Europe, the melody was written in Los Angeles to then later return to Denmark to write the lyrics and record the song. To top it off, the song is about a girl from Iceland. My ex-lady that is, which I am sure she is not excited about! Even though she wasn't as "bad" as she turns out to be in the song. This is a song created in the U.S.A and Denmark singing about a girl from Iceland.

With "Bad Girl" I tapped into some of my childhood heroes like Stevie Wonder, Prince and Michael Jackson. There was not a master plan in the studio that we had to create a song that sounded like this but it just happened naturally. It came straight from the heart, tells my story and has my groove and dance to it. With the song literally changing every time it traveled across the Atlantic to its final recording session in the midst of a beautiful and serene snowy European Christmas Day I am still surprised it turned out so funky, raw and straight to the point. It had all odds against it :)

But this is not just the story of my music but also me as a person. I travel I live I learn and create "International." It is truly a privilege.

In a time where pop music is faster than ever what I really wanted to do was to slow down the music so that you could actually hear the drums and snare hits and the chord progressions. This in turn gives you the time to rock out and appreciate what your listening to without being stressed out and never settling into a pocket. With that as well I really had to cater to the vocals making sure my background harmonies were thick and intricate. With this style of music everything is heard as a whole.

With the response the track has received so far that is really all I could have ever hoped for. I truly feel we as artists have a responsibility to pass along some of the foundations laid down by the greats in popular music on to the next generation, just as my idols did for me/us. This is what truly motivates me and what I can only hope to do for others.

Mario Lopez and Wife Expecting Second Baby

(Extra) "Extra" exclusively confirms that host Mario Lopez and his wife Courtney Lopez are expecting their second baby together.

Mario tells "Extra" he and Courtney are ecstatic. Mario, "I am the happiest father in the world. We cannot wait to welcome baby Lopez number two into our lives." The couple's first daughter, Gia Francesca Lopez, was born on September 11, 2010.

"Extra" broke the news on the air today with a surprise baby shower complete with balloons, guests and gifts. Little Gia appeared holding a sign that read 'I'm gonna be a big sister.' The baby is due late summer.

Mario and Courtney were married December 1, 2012 in Punta Mita, Mexico. The two met when they shared the Broadway stage in the 2006 revival of "A Chorus Line" and began dating in 2008. more on this story

Black Eyed Peas Went On Hiatus Because of Fergie Pregnancy?

But for Fergie's closest friends, like her long time Black Eyed Peas producer and songwriter DJ Poet, there have been tell tale signs for weeks now. Poet knew something was up as soon as Fergie announced the Black Eyed Peas hiatus.

"After our song 'Feel Alive' came out, they suddenly stopped any type of shows or work related stuff, so that was when I started thinking 'it's mama Ferga time!'" Poet tells Hollyscoop exclusively.

One Direction Mashup For A Cause

(Radio.com) This past weekend saw the release of the latest single from One Direction, and it's not just any single. The 1D mash-up of two old school New Wave favorites from 1978, Blondie's "One Way or Another" and The Undertones' "Teenage Kicks," is a charity release for UK's Red Nose Day.

Red Nose Day is a bi-annual fund raising event, coming up this year on March 15th, organized by Comic Reliefto help those throughout the UK and Africa facing injustice or living in poverty.

As part of their Red Nose Day effort, One Direction recently traveled to Ghana where the band were able to see first hand the dire conditions. "I'm a little bit nervous and scared of what I might see," Zayn Malik reveals in a video document of their journey, "but we've come here today to have a look at what our money can do to help." Ne-Yo And Boyz II Men Star Have Love Fest At The Grammys

(Radio.com) They may be from different eras but Ne-Yo and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men have taken notes from each other over the years. When the two recently met backstage at the 55th annual GRAMMY Awards, they sang each others praises.

"I am sitting next to one of the greatest songwriters of this generation," said R&B veteran Shawn Stockman told the Hot Morning Crew of Hot 97.3/Hartford. Ne-Yo returned the compliment by explaining that Boyz II Men was one of his biggest influences growing up.

"In high school I wanted to be Boyz II Men," Ne-Yo joked. "I was in a singing group when I was in high school and we would get together and do really, really terrible imitations of the songs. It was not as fly as they did it!"

Stockman laughed, "Our game only stepped up when we got a record deal! Trust me, if you saw any old pictures of us before we even got signed, it is ugly." A lot more here.

The Vampire Diaries' Kat Graham Has Music In The Works

(Radio.com) Kat Graham has some magic up her sleeves. Best known for her role as witty witch Bonnie Bennett on The Vampire Diaries," Kat Graham visited 92.3 NOW/New York to discuss her evolution as an actress and the music she has in the works.

Graham's progression as a performer didn't begin the way she always thought it would with intentions of being a dancer and branching out into other fields of the entertainment industry.

"Its been an interesting transition because I thought that I would be doing music way before I would have booked a TV show," she said. "And I would have thought that I would have been doing more back up dancing before I would have been an artist. So its been an interesting journey, but its been really fun."

Graham first became interested in music at the age of 14, when she would practice DJing at her local Boys and Girls Club. Persistence and determination enabled her to work with GRAMMY Award winner will.i.am on "The Donque Song" and "I Got It From My Mama" off his third album, Songs About Girls released in 2007.

"I winded up getting into singing after that. That process was because I kept sending will.i.am a bunch of beats as a kid. As a brat like, 'This is a hit, this is a smash!' and he winded up putting me on a couple of songs and then that whole journey started," she said. More including a stream

Ashley Monroe Releases Duet With Blake Shelton

(Radio.com) Ashley Monroe borrows Miranda Lambert's husband Blake Shelton for her new song "You Ain't Dolly (And You Ain't Porter)."

The fellow Pistol Annies member is gearing up for the release of her upcoming solo album Like A Rose due out March 5 and recorded the twangy and comical throwback with The Voice coach.

Monroe and Shelton trade lines on the tongue-in-cheek track. "You'll probably see me country singing on The Voice someday," Monroe sings.

Usher Gives Fans Special Valentine Delivery

(Radio.com) It was about a year ago on Valentine's Day when Usher made an intentional leak of his ultra-sexy single "Climax." Well, this Valentine's Day was no different, with Usher pushing out his latest track, "Go Missin."

Usher made the announcement via his Twitter account, promising a "special delivery from the cloud" for Valentine's Day. And he delivered again with a song that urges the object of his desire to dip out of the club and "go missin'" with him.

Kesha To Be Honored For Her Animal Instincts

(Radio.com) Kesha, an outspoken animal advocate, who calls her fan base Animals, will be honored by The Humane Society for her "animal instincts."

On March 23 Kesha will be named Humane Society International's first Global Ambassador for animals. "My affinity with animals and the natural world inspires me and my music," she said.

"It means so much to me to be recognized by The Humane Society of the United States because advocating for animals is second nature to me," Kesha said. "I don't understand how anyone can justify abusing or exploiting animals, and as long as it continues, I intend to keep talking about it." more on this story

Dido's Baby Played Big Part In Making Of Her New Album

(Radio.com) Dido's baby boy played a big part in the making of her latest album, Girl Who Got Away. The "Thank You" singer told The Guardian in England that she was nearly finished with her album in 2010, but had to push back the release date when she found out she was pregnant.

She did admit that the title of her latest release, due out March 26, is pretty fitting, considering the fact that it's been five years since the release of her last album, Safe Trip Home. "I do keep disappearing for a while between albums," she said.

Dido kept working on the album while she was pregnant and says her little boy, Stanley, was very helpful when it came to finalizing the album's tracklisting. She says he was a big fan of the title track.

Bryan Adams A Father Again

The rocker-turned-photographer told the mag that their new little bundle of joy was born during tea time, which influenced their name choice.

"Rosylea is cockney rhyming slang in London for 'cup of tea'," he explained. "And the name Lula comes from Gene Vincent's song 'Be-Bop-A-Lula.'"

Yes, Groban who Jimmy Kimmel said "had the voice of an angel, the soulful eyes of an untamed mustang and if you bite into him, tastes like cherries," is looking to help you in the bedroom.

In the ad, the singer asks "Feel like you're not very good at sex? Well, now you are…going to be."

The pills, which apparently contain "special chemicals [that] travel to your privates," are even doctor approved. Well, one doctor swears by them.
