Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift hate each other. That's what you may believe if you read the gossip papers and websites, but it was apparently news to Underwood when she was asked about the tabloid feud. Underwood was questioned about the reported feud by Gayle King on CBS This Morning. "No," she responded when asked if there was a feud. "Not that I know of at least!" Underwood attributes bogus stories like her alleged feud to the use of anonymous "sources" by various media outlets. "In every magazine, in pretty much every (sic) newspaper or on gossip TV shows, they can just get away with it by saying 'a source said' or 'a friend said' or 'an insider said,'" Underwood said. "I've read the most ridiculous things about myself when people do that." King then asked Underwood if she could name her favorite song by Swift, she responded, "My favorite Taylor Swift song, oh my gosh," she said. "I really like 'I Knew You Were Trouble.' It sounded a lot different for her. I liked the branching out, trying some different sounds." The full interview airs during the program this morning, February 13th at 7:00 EST. You can watch the preview clip here.

Christian Gibbs has set a March 26th North American release date for his new acoustic album, Sleep The Machines. The album was produced by Andrew Hollander ("Sleep Walk With Me") and was recorded live with just vocals and guitar and features guest appearances by Cat Popper (Jack White, Ryan Adams) on vocals and bass and Jon Graboff (Willie Nelson) on pedal steel. Gibbs had this to say, "The album was so named due to the absence of editing, massive overdubs, and the usual onslaught of studio trickery ever so present in today's musical climate. "I was a little nervous at first as I've always recorded vocals last where you can edit them and finish the lyrics during the actual take. "This process definitely took me out of my comfort zone initially, but I am very proud of the results."
