(popmusiclife) Madonna kicked off the North American leg of her MDNA world Tour on Tuesday in Philadelphia.The pop icon pulled an Axl Rose and showed up on stage at the Wells Fargo Center two-and-half hours late, with many media reports saying the crowd displayed their displeasure with a chorus of pre-show boos. "It's so good to be back home, and I want to apologize for being late," explained Madonna. "We had many changes to make from Europe to America, and I wanted the show to be perfect for you because my fans deserve it and quite frankly I deserve it." more on this story

(TMZ) Kris Humphries has just been sued by a woman who claims he gave her herpes ... TMZ has learned.Kayla Goldberg claims she met Kris in August, 2010 at the Newsroom Cafe on Robertson Blvd. in L.A. They flirted, exchanged numbers, and she claims that night they met up at Trousdale nightclub on the Sunset Strip. According to the suit, Kris came on to Kayla, touching, kissing and dancing with her. Kayla claims he took her to his hotel and they had sex multiple times ... including oral sex. The suit claims during a portion of the sexual encounter Kris did not wear a condom. The lawsuit claims Kris did not inform Kayla he had herpes -- and she claims in the suit that he did indeed have the disease. Kayla says a week later she was diagnosed with herpes. Her symptoms included a sore throat, fever, body aches and immobilizing pain, as well as extreme irritation and painful legions on her genitalia. Kayla -- who put her full name in the lawsuit -- is suing for unspecified damages. more on this story

Rapper Beanie Sigel expected to have two more weeks of freedom before checking into prison but he was arrested on Wednesday during a traffic stop for a weapon and drug violation. Sigel, real name Dwight Grant, is about to start a prison sentence for failure to file tax returns and intended to spend the next weeks focusing on promoting his new album, "This Time," which was released on Tuesday but a when the car he was riding in was pulled over on Interstate 95 in the Philadelphia suburb of Tinicum Township yesterday, those plans changed. Police found a gun in the cars console, according to New York Daily News as well as drugs on the driver, Gerald Andrews and Sigel. Both Sigel and Andrews are convicted felons and are not allowed to possess firearms. The Daily News reports that "court records indicate Sigel and Andrews both face drug and gun charges and were unable to post bail." You can read their report for more details

(TMZ) Lindsay Lohan will not be prosecuted by the L.A. County District Attorney for stealing more than $100,000 in jewelry from a Hollywood Hills home -- TMZ has learned the D.A. just rejected the case.According to the D.A.'s charge evaluation worksheet, there is insufficient evidence to bring a burglary charge against the actress. According to the D.A., Lindsay and Sam Magid -- the guy who owns the house that was allegedly burglarized -- have had a "longstanding relationship." The D.A. claims Sam did not identify Lindsay as a suspect and the "potential eyewitnesses have refused to become involved." Additionally, none of the suspects were found in possession of the stolen property. Lindsay's assistant Gavin Doyle will also not face prosecution. more on this story

(TMZ) Chad Johnson's estranged wife Evelyn Lozada has cut herself off entirely from her husband -- telling TMZ, she hasn't spoken a word to the former NFL star since he allegedly headbutted her earlier this month.Evelyn was out in NYC this morning when we asked if she has had any contact with Chad since the August 11th incident -- when Chad was busted for domestic violence -- and Evelyn replied, "No." It's the first time Evelyn's spoken a word in public following that fateful night. She has since filed for divorce. As we reported, Evelyn was scheduled to do her first interview with Robin Roberts on "Good Morning America" -- but Robin had to pull out for health reasons. (TMZ) Kim Kardashian has called an end to her war with Old Navy -- settling up with the clothing brand for big bucks ... after it allegedly used a Kim K look-alike in its advertising last year.Kim's lawsuit was dismissed today in L.A. -- and sources close to Old Navy tell TMZ, the company agreed to pay Kim an undisclosed sum based on her look-alike claims. We're told both sides are pleased with the settlement, though the exact terms of the deal are undisclosed. TMZ broke the story ... Kim sued Old Navy last July for MILLIONS, claiming it intentionally used a look-alike in an effort to dupe the public into thinking Kim was affiliated with the brand. (popmusiclife) No Doubt's reunion album, "Push And Shove," will be out September 25 and on Wednesday, the group premiered the album's title track on Ryan Seacrest's radio show.The band have previously released "Settle Down" as the first single and have shared the album's cover art, created by street artist El Mac. On September 5, No Doubt and Mariah Carey will help the NFL kick off its new season, as the two will perform live from Rockefeller Plaza before the New York Giants-Dallas Cowboys game at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. (TMZ) Snoop Dogg's name is being dragged into a nasty lawsuit between a promoter and some nightclub -- all over an appearance gone wrong -- and now, the club wants over $100,000 in damages.Exchange LA -- the nightclub in question -- filed a lawsuit in L.A. against a promotion company called Movement Management, claiming Movement promised to book Snoop for an appearance on June 30th ... for a fee of $25,000. Exchange claims it paid a $15,000 deposit to secure Snoop -- but days after making the payment, Movement said Snoop had been double-booked ... and couldn't make the June 30th appearance as previously promised. (For the record, Snoop was in Europe at the time) Exchange says it asked for its money back -- but it's been months ... and Movement still hasn't coughed it up, so now Exchange is suing for breach of contract and fraud. Exchange wants its $15,000 deposit back stat -- in addition to $100,000 in punitive damages. Attempts to reach Movement Management were unsuccessful. Charles Barkley MURDERING a karaoke rendition of "End of the Road" at a bar in North Carolina ... when suddenly the guys from Boyz II Men appeared on stage and saved the day. It all went down at a bar in Raleigh -- Charles and B2M were in town for the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic to raise money for cancer research. After Charles hit the links, he grabbed the mic during a karaoke event ... and proved once and for all that his voice is EVEN WORSE than his golf swing. (TMZ) Taking out a boatful of terrorists hell-bent on nuking Honolulu does not mean you can skip out on paying your taxes ... so the State of California has filed a giant tax lien against action film star Steven Seagal, TMZ has learned. According to documents filed with the Los Angeles County Recorder's Office, Seagal owes the Golden State a whopping $335,606.35 for the year 2010. It's hard to imagine how Seagal amassed such a large tax bill -- he has appeared in mostly direct-to-video movies for the past decade, with his only real work being a small role in "Machete" in 2010 and his reality show, "Steven Seagal: Lawman." more on this story

(TMZ) Jermaine Jackson says he celebrated Michael Jackson's birthday by spending time with his family and watching sentimental home videos ... but JJ explained it's also a day marked with great sadness. Jermaine was out with his kids in Calabasas yesterday where he told us, "Today is a day to remember a wonderful human being ... but we're sobbing ... always." Sadly, Jermaine told us the family "didn't really have birthday parties" for Michael over the years ... but says he will always cherish the memories of the two performing on stage together. Recorded in upstate New York, it is The Bad Plus' (bassist Reid Anderson, pianist Ethan Iverson, drummer David King) eighth studio effort and ninth release overall. "This band contains some of the most punk energy I've ever seen or felt as a musician - it just doesn't need to do it so obviously," King says. "That's our statement. It's a complex emotion."
