2011 MTV Video Music Awards Official Recap and VMAs Winner List
Beyonce confirmed her pregnancy onstage at the 2011 VMAs. That's just one of the highlights of this year's event. In case you missed it, here is the official recap and winners list that MTV sent out:

The ladies ruled the kingdom at the "2011 MTV Video Music Awards," broadcast live this evening from Nokia Theater L.A. Live, as Katy Perry and Adele each took home three VMA Moonmen and Lady Gaga two. Katy Perry won the biggest prize of the night, "Video of the Year," with her pop anthem, "Fireworks," as well as honors for "Best Collaboration" and "Best Special Effects" for "E.T." featuring Kanye West. Adding to her reign atop the album charts, Adele won VMAs for "Best Art Direction," "Best Cinematography," and "Best Editing." Genre and gender-defying Lady Gaga kicked off the night as her alter ego Joe Calderone with a show-stopping performance of "You and I," and later walked away with two VMAs for "Best Female" and this year's new category, "Best Video with a Message."

The most explosive moment of the night belonged to hip-hop heavyweights Kanye West and Jay-Z . The duo brought funk, flare and the fireworks to the VMA stage with the worldwide television debut performance of "Otis" from their global number one album, Watch The Throne. The kings of hip-hop playfully commandeered the VMA stage with their usual royal swagger through a steady bombastic beat of flames, smoke and pyrotechnics until the patriotic climax as they proudly stood in front of the red, white and blue of a gigantic American flag in a nod to the single's cover. more on this story

Casey Anthony Mental Health Treatment Plans
(TMZ) Casey Anthony has decided NOT to enter a treatment facility for "obvious mental health issues" -- instead, TMZ has learned, she's getting professional psychiatric help delivered right to her front door.

Sources close to Casey tell TMZ, she's concerned about leaving her Florida home -- where she's serving a year of probation for her check fraud case -- but Casey still understands she needs mental help.

The solution ... we're told Casey has hired a team of mental health professionals to visit her on a regular basis. But it doesn't end there -- we're told Casey has also employed the help of a spiritual adviser to keep her centered.

As we previously reported, sources close to Casey tell TMZ, Casey attributes her bizarre behavior when her daughter Caylee went missing back in 2008 to "obvious mental health issues."

According to sources, Casey needs to cope with the "obvious trauma of losing her child" -- and nearly three years spent behind bars in solitary confinement didn't help ... "It messed with her head." more on this story

Death Threats Over Big Brother Eviction
(TMZ) "Big Brother" contestant Shelly Moore pissed off America when she voted to evict fan favorite Jeff Schroeder last week -- and now TMZ has learned her family has been receiving death threats from deranged fans because of the move.

Sources close to Shelly tell us ... the reality star's family has received multiple phone calls from people threatening violence ... even making threats against Shelly's 8-year-old daughter.

We're told Shelly's employer has also been receiving harassing phone calls -- demanding the company fire Shelly immediately because of the way she voted on the show.

Sources tell us Shelly's family is preparing to get the FBI involved -- because they're taking the threats VERY seriously.

We reached out to "Big Brother" for comment -- so far, no response. more on this story

The Game Spitting Mad
(TMZ) Big twist in the street fight this week involving The Game -- law enforcement tells TMZ, the rapper DID get violent with a cameraman outside a Hollywood nightclub ... but only after the guy spat on him.

According to law enforcement, several witnesses have told cops that Game either pushed or punched photog Breyon Williams -- but they all insist ... Breyon spat on Game first.

You can hear Game shouting at the end of our video (here) -- but we're told ... Game was just yelling at his posse to clear out.

As we previously reported, Game gave his statement to police on Thursday -- and they decided not to arrest him in connection with the incident.

Breyon tells TMZ, the whole story is BS -- insisting he NEVER spit on the rapper.

The matter has been forwarded to the City Attorney for final review. more on this story

Hilary Duff Makes $100K For Not Acting
(TMZ) A preggo Hilary Duff scored a GIANT golden parachute after getting dumped from the new "Bonnie and Clyde" movie -- a severance deal worth $100,000 ... all for doing nothing.

Sources close to production tell TMZ, it's all in Hilary's play-or-pay contract -- if for some reason, production decides to terminate the actress' employment ... they'll cough up the six-figure sum to compensate her.

As we previously reported, Duff was dropped from the flick after she got knocked up.

We're told the search is still on for a Bonnie replacement -- Amanda Seyfried was approached to fill the role ... but she turned it down.

Over the weekend, Duff was volunteering at the Los Angeles Mission's 75th End Of Summer Block Party -- when we asked about the situation.

Duff told TMZ, "I dont wanna give them any more press than they've already gotten off me ... I think [my] baby is a little bit more exciting." more on this story

Associate Committed Suicide Day After Russell Armstrong Was Found Dead
(TMZ) Russell Armstrong's friend and business associate committed suicide the day after Russell's body was found hanging from a beam in his bedroom ... TMZ has learned.

Alan Schram -- the managing partner of Wellcap, an L.A-based hedge fund -- was found on August 16 outside of his car on Mulholland Drive with a gunshot to his head. The L.A. County Coroner concluded Schram's death was a suicide.

Alan was connected with an exclusive group called Tiger 21 -- a organization of high net-worth folk who jawbone with each other about investments ... and we're told Russell Armstrong was a member of Tiger 21, even though he was clearly having money trouble.

We're also told they became friends, and during Russell's memorial, Taylor and some of the other "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" were talking about how shocked they were that the two men killed themselves -- possibly a day apart.

As we previously reported, Russell, who did not leave a suicide note, was in deep distress over money problems. As for Alan, he also did not leave a note, and his money situation is unclear. more on this story

According to the docs, police successfully retrieved the user's email address and IP address late last month -- and plan to pursue a criminal investigation. more on this story

Halle Berry Wins Custody Battle
(TMZ) Score one for Halle Berry in the latest custody battle with baby daddy Gabriel Aubry. TMZ has learned Halle prevailed in court last week -- as both she and Gabriel stood by while their lawyers argued before the family law judge.

We're told the issue had to do with the custody agreement the couple signed. There's a provision in the agreement dealing with how much time each of them gets to spend with Nahla when Halle shoots a movie.

Halle is going to Europe soon to shoot a flick, and Gabriel and Halle were arguing over the "movie clause" -- specifically, how they're supposed to divide their time with Nahla.

We're told the judge bought Halle's interpretation of the "movie clause," meaning Gabriel won't get as much time with Nahla as he wanted. more on this story
