Cops Bust Deranged Man Outside Sharon Stone's Home
(TMZ) An apparently deranged man was just handcuffed and taken away by cops outside Sharon Stone's Hollywood Hills mansion, after he was banging at her gate, claiming he killed Osama bin Laden.

Law enforcement sources tell us the man -- approximately 50 years old and from the Midwest -- took a cab to Sharon's house and began ranting that he and Sharon had a child together.

We're told Sharon was not home, but her staff called the LAPD, and cops raced up and subdued the man before he was able to enter Sharon's property.

The man is being detained for mental evaluation. Sharon has had two serious problems with stalkers in the past, and it's the second time this year someone left her home in cuffs. more on this story

Ashton Kutcher Scores Big With Two and a Half Men
(TMZ) Judging by the audience reaction Friday night, Ashton Kutcher is an instant hit on "Two and a Half Men," and judging by the bottom line, he's being handsomely rewarded with a paycheck that approaches a million bucks an episode.

There are reports that he's raking in $700,000, but we know it's much higher. Ashton is actually getting between $800,000 and $900,000 an episode.

True enough ... Charlie Sheen was making a lot more -- $1.25 million an episode, plus profit sharing which brought him to $2 million per show. We're told Ashton will get the often-elusive "back end" profits as well.

Ashton has instantly become the reigning king of TV in the salary department. more on this story

Lucinda Williams To Play Free Gig This Weekend
Lucinda Williams is set to headline the Great Park Flights & Sounds Summer Festival on Saturday, August 13 at the Orange County Great Park, in Irvine, California.

Louisiana-born singer/songwriter Williams started out singing blues music. Her 14 Grammy nominations have sprawled across the folk, country, rock, pop and Americana categories. Vanity Fair has described her work as "part Hank Williams, part Bob Dylan, part Keith Richards circa Exile on Main Street," but even being named with that rarified company hardly describes Williams, who will take the Great Park stage at 8:15 p.m.

"We invite everyone to come out for our second weekend of Flights & Sounds performances featuring Lucinda Williams, a true American original," said Beth Krom, Chair, Orange County Great Park Corporation. "The Great Park is proud to showcase high quality entertainment offered free to the public as part of our commitment to create wonderful experiences as we activate the Park." more on this story

Teen Mom Arrested
(TMZ) "Teen Mom" Jenelle Evans wasn't just arrested for alleged drug use this week -- she was also busted for getting too personal with her boyfriend Kieffer Delp ... "a known drug user."

As we previously reported, Jenelle allegedly violated her probation by testing positive for marijuana and opiates -- but the terms of her probation also prohibit her from "knowingly associating with any person or previously convicted users, possessors, or sellers of any illegal drugs."

And according to the North Carolina probation violation report, Jenelle's BF Kieffer Delp -- a "known drug user" -- fits that bill to a T.

It's no secret the two have been hanging out either -- as we previously reported, Kieffer was arrested in June for punching two people in front of a convenience store ... and Jenelle was right beside him.

According to the report, Jenelle is expected in court for a probation violation hearing on August 24 -- and funny enough ... Kieffer's due in court exactly a week later to face assault charges. more on this story

Ice Cube Still Won't Talk N.W.A.
(TMZ) It's been 22 YEARS since Ice Cube left N.W.A. over a nasty money dispute -- but this week in L.A., the rapper still didn't want to talk about it.

You may recall ... Ice dropped out of the rap group in 1989, claiming their manager had stiffed him out of royalties. The remaining N.W.A. members -- including Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, and MC Ren -- RIPPED Ice Cube in their subsequent albums.

The rappers seemed to bury the hatchet after Eazy-E's death in 1995 -- but based on the clip, it seems it's still a sore subject. Thankfully, he was game to talk about one thing ... his upcoming movie "21 Jump Street." more on this story

(Gibson) Aretha Franklin utilized her legendary singing skills to get out of a parking ticket this week. "It means as well, after so many years of traveling with him in the early '60s at the advent of the civil rights movement, that again, many years later, I would perform in his honor and in tribute to him, and I'm really looking forward to that moment and singing one of his favorite songs, his most requested song by me." more on this story

Happy Birthday Joe Jackson
(Gibson) After being introduced to music fans as one of new wave's "angry young men" (along with Elvis Costello and Graham Parker), Joe Jackson has spent his career working in a variety of musical styles. The British singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has said his focus is always on creating "eclectic pop" music, which has taken him from ska and punk to jazz and classical compositions, landing him a few hits ("Is She Really Going Out with Him?" "Steppin' Out") during his 30-plus years on the music scene.

Joe Jackson was born David Ian Jackson in Stratfordshire, England, on this day in 1954. He grew up in Portsmouth, first learning to play the violin and then switching to piano. He became so enamored with the instrument, he was able to convince his father to have a piano moved into their home. By 16, he was honing his musical chops by playing in bars. Soon, he earned a scholarship to study musical composition at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Sometime during his days at the academy, young David Jackson started being called Joe. He earned the nickname because classmates thought he looked like the main puppet character on the U.K. series Joe 90. He was still known as David in his '70s band Edward Bear – which became Edwin Bear and then Arms & Legs. Around the time that Arms & Legs broke up (following two unsuccessful singles) in 1976, he became known professionally as Joe Jackson. more on this story

Charlie Sheen Excited With How He Dies
(TMZ) It took a freaking TRAIN to kill off Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men" -- and the Warlock tells TMZ, he wouldn't have it any other way ... in fact, he's "honored" by his gruesome, untimely demise.

As we previously reported, Charlie Harper's death on "Men" is absolutely grotesque -- we're told he gets run over by a subway train in Paris, after slipping off the platform, and BLOWS UP in a massive "meat explosion."

But Charlie Sheen isn't just unfazed ... he's elated -- telling us, "I am honored that it took something as large and violent as an oncoming train to terminate my character."

He adds, "Anything less would have been an insult!" more on this story

Singled Out: Nicole Sjoberg's Label This
Today Nicole Sjoberg tells us about her new single "Label This" from her forthcoming album "The Journey." Here is the story:

The story behind 'Label This' is basically my outlook on things" states Nicole. "I never was the kind of person to be put inside of a box. I never fit in with a certain click in high school and I always kinda had friends from all walks of life and normally they were the ones considered 'weird'. I never believed in conforming and was always rebellious. If you told me not to do something, I'd do it just because I could. When I left high school and pursued music, I ended up meeting with all these different record labels and every label had me going to a million different producers to do a million different styles of songs. I could never understand why they'd want to condense everything I am to put me in a one dimensional category. I felt as if I had more to offer and that the corporations were cheating me out of being multifaceted and having the ability to speak my vision/message. I was surrounded by men in an industry that never really cared what I wanted and I was so tired of them telling me what to do and trying to dumb me down that I made the song a slap in the face to say, here 'LABEL THIS', what aren't you getting now? It's a female empowerment thing. I want it to showcase women from all walks of life coming together united supporting each other, with attitude, basically taking control. It's not about me thinking i'm too big for my britches. It's a message to women about standing up for yourself, coming into your own, embracing yourself for everything you are and liking who you are. It's about not taking s*** from anyone, doing it on your own terms, standing strong with confidence, especially after walking out of any kind of world of some sort of oppression/condition. There are many different layers to a woman and to individuals in general, so why can't we be what / who we wanna be? Why can't we be a little bit of everything? Let's stop judging and start accepting not only ourselves but each other!

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
