The first time I heard the original, Michael Jackson version of 'Stranger in Moscow', was when I lived in London. This was the time when I felt free and unknown and no one bothered me, yet hearing the song brought back so many painful memories. I felt sadness, yet comfort in knowing I wasn't the only person feeling this way. It was a song I could really relate to, it was also like therapy to me for a while.

I never thought about doing a Michael Jackson cover, as he was my absolute, all-time idol and I never felt it was appropriate to cover his songs as there is only one Michael. However, I wanted to record a tribute in his honor. It's a thank you for inspiring me and giving so much to me for so many years. Around the same time that I was thinking of recording one of his songs, I was preparing for my trip to Moscow for a private performance. I hadn't been there since I was a little girl and I wanted to perform my most personal and intimate songs.

'Stranger in Moscow' was the perfect song for me to record. Recording it was fun, but also painful. It felt so real. It was almost like reopening my old wounds, but I really put my heart and soul into it; it meant a lot to me.

Performing 'Stranger in Moscow' live in Moscow was even more amazing. Moscow really is a city where one feels very lonely and Michael's song totally captures the feel of being in that city, and it definitely added more emotion and drama to the performance. My tribute is dedicated to Michael and all of his fans around the world.

Having delivered two exclusive mixes to the best soundtrack in entertainment, Tiësto's in-game likeness from the DJ Hero 2 is the feature attraction in the brand new "Speed Rail" music video viewable online more.

"I'm having a lot of fun playing myself in DJ Hero 2!" says Tiësto "I originally wrote 'Speed Rail' for the video game and then started playing the track at my shows. The music video idea came together after I asked Activision to cut together some footage of my character in the game to play on the large video screens I use on tour. Leon Russell Goes Universal

Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) has signed Leon Russell to a worldwide co-publishing deal for The Union, his collaboration with UMPG's Elton John and lyricist and songwriting partner Bernie Taupin. The new album was released on October 19.

The Green Children, announce the release of Encounter Remixed. Fueled by the global influence of dance music, the remix album features A-List remixers Moguai, Paul Oakenfold, Digital Dog and many more.

The band's full-length album, Encounter, was released stateside October 12th. The album is distributed by Spinside Records, the artist-centric imprint and new division of Inside Recordings, the independent label formed by Jackson Browne and his management team. Slumdog Team Delivering 127 Hours

(Interscope) 127 Hours is being released in U.S. select cities on November 5th by FOX Searchlight Pictures, reuniting the Slumdog Millionaire team of A.R. Rahman, director Danny Boyle, writer Simon Beaufoy, and producer Christian Colson.

On November 2nd, three days before the film's opening, Interscope Records will release 127 Hours: Music From The Motion Picture, featuring the song "If I Rise," the first collaboration between internationally renowned Grammy, Golden Globe and Oscar winner A.R. Rahman and Dido, the mega-platinum two-time Grammy Award-nominated and 4-time BRIT Award-winning British singer and songwriter.
