Were you among those disappointed with this year's AMAs? You weren't alone as it appeared not that many people cared enough to tune in. Billboard reports that the AMAs drew 11.6 million viewers and a 4.3 preliminary adults 18-49 rating, down 22% from 2009. Moreover, the telecast stands as the lowest-rated AMAs yet. more. Another sign that auto-tuned bad haircuts and pretty faces are destroying the music biz. On the other hand, real singing talent seems to sell as Hits Double Daily shows Susan Boyle is on track to lead the top of the charts again this week (as of their last update on Monday). more

A Very Special Christmas For Jason Mraz
Jason Mraz has contributed a track to the A Very Special Christmas holiday music series benefiting Special Olympics.

His recording of "Winter Wonderland" will be available on iTunes for the first time in the U.S. starting TODAY. The track will also be offered as a bonus to the purchase of 2009's acclaimed A Very Special Christmas Volume 7, featuring young superstars Colbie Caillat, Carter Twins, Charice, Miley Cyrus, Kristinia DeBarge, Gloriana, Vanessa Hudgens, Sean Kingston, Leighton Meester, Mitchel Musso, Kellie Pickler, Ashley Tisdale and Carrie Underwood.

Mraz, who grew up listening to classic Christmas recordings by Bing Crosby, Perry Como and the like, remembers the A Very Special Christmas series. David Archuleta Holiday Parade
American Idol's David Archuleta will take part in a 22-year Dallas tradition, the Children's Medical Center Holiday Parade on December 4th.

Archuleta will contribute to the magic of the parade by singing a special number while riding on a 'Sounds of the Season' float.

On December 3, Archuleta will also perform a special holiday concert at the Majestic Theater in Dallas and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Children's Medical Center. - more on this story

Robyn On Leno Tonight, On The Road Early Next Year

Deborah Allen and Cledus T. Judd Deliver Redneck Christmas
Deborah Allen has teamed with Country comedian Cledus T. Judd for a special Christmas single: "Redneck Christmas."

Released digitally through GMV Nashville, the humorous holiday track, written by Allen in 2009, was not recorded until 2010 when Judd stopped by the studio to provide the finishing touches and comic narrative heard throughout the song.

"I wanted to write a Christmas song that would make people smile, especially rednecks," laughs Allen. "I thought to myself, 'What would make a good redneck gift? A free hunting license? A case of beer? How about a good, redneck Christmas song?' It was so much fun to write. (Submitted) Julian Lennon will be making an inaugural visit to Miami to exhibit his personal collection of photography during the week of Art Basel Miami Beach.

The exhibition will take place on December 1st through December 5th at The New Generation Green Room, Adrienne Arsht Centre for the Performing Arts, 1300 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida 33132.
