Christina Aguilera and Cher are teaming up for the new Sony Pictures film Burlesque and the film's soundtrack which will be released by RCA on on November 22nd.The soundtrack features new recordings performed and co-written by five time Grammy winner Christina Aguilera, with production by Tricky Stewart, Linda Perry and Ron Fair and songwriting by Claude Kelly, Tricky Stewart and Sia. The soundtrack also features two brand new tracks performed by the legendary Cher, including "You Haven't Seen The Last Of Me", a powerful Diane Warren penned ballad which was produced by Matt Serletic. This marks Cher's first new original song in seven years as well as her first movie musical. The soundtrack also includes remakes / covers of classic songs such as Etta James' "Something's Got A Hold On Me" and "Tough Lover" and Mae West's "A Guy What Takes His Time" all performed by Christina Aguilera.

Martina McBride and Train will join forces onstage for CMT Crossroads: Train and Martina Mcbride which premieres Saturday, November 20 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT. The one-hour show will tape in Nashville in the upcoming weeks. This will mark McBride's second time appearing on the hit CMT series, the first being paired with Pat Benatar in 2003. "Performing on CMT CROSSROADS with Martina McBride is an exciting honor for Train," said Pat Monahan, lead vocals, Train. "Martina is an icon in the country music world because her voice is amazing and her songs are timeless. We can't wait to share the Crossroads stage with her and her band."

The duo fused Beak's music with the vocal stylings of 8Ball, Devius, Drake, Fiq, Freeway, T.I., Shad, Mos Def, Thomas Mars of Phoenix, and Usher. Though Beak has spent the last several years building a reputation producing for various MC's like Wale, P.O.S. and Dessa, he began his musical career as a vocalist/guitarist for indie rock band The Plastic Constellations.

(Gibson) Nashville's country superstar Taylor Swift has been given the Madame Tussauds treatment in New York.Music-News.com reports that Taylor Swift attended the unveiling of her waxwork likeness in New York and then tweeted a picture with the caption, "bring on the pretenders." Madame Tussauds artists travelled from London to Nashville last year to photograph and measure Swift for the elaborate and precision waxwork process.

(Gibson) Country superstar Garth Brooks has announced that he will be returning to Nashville as a performer for the first time in more than 10 years.The benefit will aid victims of Nashville's May flood. The concert will be held December 17 at the Bridgestone Arena. Proceeds from the event will go to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Brooks' wife Trisha Yearwood also will perform. All the proceeds from every $25 ticket will go directly to flood relief. Brooks and Yearwood are performing gratis, the venue is free and all the production crew are volunteering.
