Deluka's remix for fellow U.K. based group Band Of Skulls' "Death by Diamonds and Pearls" was leaked this week and is already building a steady buzz. Southhampton's Band of Skulls' paring with Deluka forms an exciting alliance between two rapidly emerging British rock bands. Deluka turns the tune on its head applying their brand of synth-drenched electro nirvana to the track. The "Diamonte" remix illustrates why the band has enjoyed the recent attention of industry giants like NME and MTV. Conjuring thick clouds of distorted synth bass, crisp snares and kicks, Band of Skulls vocalists Russell Marsden and Emma Richardson emerge into an energetic field of sound. With the additional distinction as top-notch remixers added to their credit, Deluka proves they are a group to keep an eye on.
