The Black Keys release their sixth full-length album, Brothers, May 18 on Nonesuch Records. The album arrives on the heels of three other acclaimed projects the band released in the past year: Dan Auerbach's solo effort, Keep It Hid, the debut LP from Patrick Carney's band Drummer, and Blakroc, a collaboration between The Black Keys and renowned MCs including RZA, Mos Def, Q-Tip, and Raekwon. The band will support Brothers with a tour that includes a sold out performance at Central Park's SummerStage in New York City on July 27 (additional dates will be announced soon). Carney admits Brothers is the album they've always wanted to make and taps into their creative force as a duo. "Dan and I grew up a lot as individuals and musicians prior to making this album. Our relationship was tested in many ways but at the end of the day, we're brothers, and I think these songs reflect that." Carney and Auerbach recorded the bulk of the album at the legendary Alabama studio Muscle Shoals with additional sessions at Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound System in Akron, OH and The Bunker in Brooklyn, NY. Muscle Shoals, an old building located in the sparse Alabama town that lends the studio its name, has produced iconic recordings from The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, and Wilson Pickett, among many others.

Following the release of the band's masterful fourth long player One Life Stand, Hot Chip are delighted to announce details of their new single "I Feel Better", to be released digitally April 20th on Astralwerks.Indeed, Hot Chip is back with an epic hit of euphoric hands-in-the-air bliss. A House stomp that summons up the spirit of Black Box, S'Express and InnerCity's 'Goodlife' and takes inspiration from the burgeoning UK Funky scene. From computer looped strings and Joe Goddard's Auto-Tuned vocals, the track simmers away before the chorus lifts-off with enough power to blow a fuse in your speakers! It's one of the great pop choruses of our time; clunky Chicago house synths colliding with an uplifting vocal sung by Alexis Taylor as if he's been waiting all his life to sing it. 'I Feel Better" is pulsing modern-day disco: an electronic punch that refuses to sacrifice any emotional complexity. In short, it's a track that belongs in nodding heads, dancing feet and the annals of great contemporary pop music. 'I Feel Better' has had a phenomenal reaction on the band's recently completed UK tour and special NY dates with the song rivaling 'Over and Over' and 'Ready For The Floor' in terms of audience reaction every night, despite having only appeared as an album track so far. Furthermore, this song has taken on a life of its own online becoming one of the most talked about tracks among blogs and fans alike.

Cole from North Carolina.
