Today is the world premiere of If I Can Dream, a ground-breaking webbased TV-quality reality series that chronicles what it takes to really "make it" in Hollywood. The show, which is produced by Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment (creator of globally recognized hit shows like Pop Idol, American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance), is Hulu's first recurring series to be made available to international audiences worldwide. Setting Sun This Summer
Setting Sun, aka. prolific songwriter Gary Levitt, will release his latest record Fantasurreal this Summer. The fourth full-length from New York State's leading indie folk pioneer, Fantasurreal finds Setting Sun exploring new, more electronic territory than his previous full-lengths. And in preparation for the release, Setting Sun has announced their first single, the album's powerful "Driving."

The recording of Fantasurreal was very much a cathartic moment for Setting Sun. Tired from a relentless tour schedule that encompassed much of 2008-2009, Levitt returned home to the quiet of his home in upstate New York. Over the course of six months, the record just flowed. "This was the easiest record I've ever made," says Levitt.

"It felt natural to come home to my studio and let these songs pour out while embracing the solitude that is so hard to find on tour. It was a big relief and a great way to ease back into my life." The end result was textured indie folk layered with driving percussion and swirling electronics, creating a record that exists somewhere between Beck's most insular moments and the giddy excitement of MGMT, simultaneously undercutting the vitality with raw, emotive vocals and lyrics that channel Bright Eyes or Elliott Smith. Driving pop songs like "Driving" share space with introspective indie folk tunes like "Don't Grow Up." Add in booming, four-on-the floor stomps like "Make You Feel" make Fantasurreal Levitt's most diverse work to date. - more on this story

Kate Nash Going Soph Next Month
Kate Nash will release the follow up to her 2008 critically acclaimed debut Made Of Bricks on April 20th here in the U.S. on Fiction/ Geffen Records. The as yet untitled album was produced by former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler and recorded at RAK studios in the UK.

The tracking listing for Kate Nash's sophomore release is: "You'll Never Listen," "Kiss That Girl," "Don't You Want To Share The Guilt," "I Just Love You More," "Do Wah Doo," "Higher Price," "I've Got A Secret," "Mansion Song," "Oh Jay," "Later On," "Pickpocket," "You Were So Far Away," and "I Hate Seagulls."

From the outset Kate knew where she wanted to go on her second outing but with the worldwide success and nearly two years of touring after the US release of Made of Bricks in 2008, she took time out to write this album and do "normal things." Those normal things consisted of finding her first flat, learning to drive and looking after her pet rabbit Fluffy! Kate learned to play drums and in 2009 became part of a new punk band called The Receeders for which she plays bass!
