Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers are featured on the Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam soundtrack, which hits stores and online retailers on Tuesday, August 10th.

Here is the announcement from Disney: The album features 15-all new songs from the movie, including three bonus songs ("Different Summers," "Walkin' In My Shoes" and "It's Not Too Late"). The physical CD also features exciting special bonuses, including the full-length "It's On" music video, exclusive interviews with Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers, and a movie photo gallery accessible through computer ROM drives. "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," premieres Friday, September 3rd on Disney Channel.

Gorillaz To Escape To America

Gorillaz have announced the details for their North American leg of their "Escape To Plastic Beach" world tour.

The North American tour will begin in Canada at Montreal's Bell Centre on October 3rd with a 19 date stretch winding up on November 3rd at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

The U.S. and Canada dates, promoted by Live Nation, will be followed by a series of ten shows across Europe and the UK, as well as, seven shows across Australia and Asia. - more on this story

Classic Duran Duran Albums Remastered and Expanded

Capitol/EMI will follow the recent release of expanded editions of Duran Duran's first three albums with expanded Limited Special Editions of the band's fourth and fifth albums, Notorious and Big Thing on September 28th.

Both 2CD/DVD packages feature the remastered original albums and extensive bonus materials in lift-top boxes with an eight-page booklet, five postcards, and a folded poster. On the same date, the full audio from each set's two CDs will also be available for download purchase from all major digital service providers.

Duran Duran's platinum-certified Notorious was produced by Nile Rodgers; its release in 1986 followed the Grammy-winning band's third album, Seven and The Ragged Tiger, by three years. The title track reached #2 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, and was revisited by The Notorious B.I.G. in 1999 as the sampled foundation of his eponymous single. - more on this story

AIR Announce Exclusive U.S. Live Show

AIR have announced an exclusive one-off U.S. live date this Fall. The French electronic pop duo (Nicolas Godin and JB Dunckel) will play Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on Saturday, October 23, 2010.

The March 2010 shows were the band's first North American live dates in over three years. For the first time on these dates, the band performed their live show as an intimate three-piece with Godin and Dunckel taking on full instrumental and vocal duties. Tour highlights included a national TV appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, an unforgettable show at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the recording of AIR's sixth studio session for KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic program.

Also in March, AIR teamed up with London-based music technology company RjDj to create an innovative App, "Love by AIR" for the iPhone, which allows fans to experience Air's music in a unique, immersive way. Fans choose from five different "soundscapes" and then use the App's features to transform the musical experience in real-time by sampling and processing ambient sounds, the fan's own voice and more into Air's own music. Fans can also record their own messages or performances with the application, allowing them to share their own unique productions of Air's music with their friends, and with the world. Massive 43-CD Miles Davis Collection Announced

Legacy has announced a massive new release: The Genius of Miles Davis: 43-CD collection assembles all eight multi-cd box sets released between 1996 and 2007. Here is the announcement:

The consummate artistry of Miles Davis and the scope of his musical vision at Columbia Records is paid the ultimate tribute on The Genius of Miles Davis. For the first time, this new collection brings together the eight deluxe multi-CD box sets that were known as The Miles Davis Series. Each volume – seven of which have collectible "metal spines" – explored a major phase of the artist's development from 1955 (Miles Davis & John Coltrane: The Complete Columbia Recordings 1955-1961) through 1975 (The Complete On The Corner Sessions).

Each volume presented the music from various LPs, plus a wealth of previously unissued session material. The eight box sets, totaling 43 CDs of music, were originally released on Columbia/Legacy between 1996 and 2007, and won a total of eight Grammy Awards. - more on this story

TV On The Radio's David Andrew Sitek will release his debut album, Maximum Balloon, on August 31st via DGC/Interscope Records.

Sitek is the guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and producer for TV On The Radio, as well as such critically-acclaimed and popular bands like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Liars and Scarlett Johansson's album of Tom Waits covers.

Sitek recruited some of his favorite singers to co-write and lend vocals to his songs: artists he's helped produce over the last 8 years as well as those he met as one of the originators of the formative New York-based indie-rock scene. Guitarist Tommy Emmanuel Receives Royal Honor

Tommy Emmanuel was honored as a Queen's Member of the Order of Australia on July 26 in Washington, DC. The ceremony took place at the residence of the Australian Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency the Honorable Kim Beazley.

"I was humbled and honored to be awarded with the Order of Australia," said Emmanuel. "To be so recognized by my country for making music and for serving the young people of Australia is incredibly wonderful and deeply fulfilling."

The prestigious Order of Australia Award, established in 1975, is bestowed on Australian citizens for meritorious service in a particular area or field of activity. Emmanuel is cited for, "service to the music and entertainment industries as a guitarist, and to the community as a supporter of Kids Under Cover." Kids Under Cover is an Australian charitable organization working to build homes and provide scholarships for homeless and at risk young people. - more on this story
