Entitled SPEAK NOW, the album will be released on Big Machine Records and contains 14 tracks, all written solely by Taylor. Taylor co-produced the project with Nathan Chapman, and the first single from the new record, "Mine," will be released on August 16th.

Jason Mraz Fall Tour
Jason Mraz will kick off his upcoming North American tour on September 11th at Bangor, Maine's Bangor Waterfront and then continues through early October

In tandem with his own tour, Mraz will also be making a series of additional appearances, including a September 12th headline performance at the Life is Good Festival 2010 in Canton, Massachusetts. The Grammy Award-winning tunesmith will also join his longtime pals Dave Matthews Band for a pair of shows at Chicago's world famous Wrigley Stadium on September 17th and 18th.

Having spent much of the past few months in the studio working on his next studio album, Mraz scheduled the upcoming itinerary as a way of getting fans' response to some of his new material. Moreover, the San Diego-based troubadour wanted to take the opportunity to visit a number of markets missed by his previous North American tour: "Even though we performed 250 shows all around the world in 2008 and 2009, I still got emails and Facebook messages from fans whose hometowns we missed," said Mraz. "When I found out I had some time off, I called up the band and said, 'Let's get to some of these places.'" Support for most dates on the trek will come from acclaimed singer/songwriter – and fellow Atlantic recording artist – Robert Francis. Also Christina Perri, whose song "Jar of Hearts" has created a national stir, will appear on a few select dates. - more on this story

Frontier Ruckus Release New Album
Frontier Ruckus released Deadmalls & Nightfalls on Ramseur Records yesterday, July 20th, 2010 and you can catch them on the road supporting the effort.

The former college friends use traditional instrumentals – banjo, pedal steel, harmonium, bellows, mandolin and guitars – as well as the occasional tasteful horn flourishes and Hammond organ, to adorn their stark travelogues in a unique and heartfelt way.

Don't be fooled by their moniker; this band's frontier is urban and its landscapes are the industrial wastelands of their native Detroit. But the world portrayed in Deadmalls and Nightfalls is a land purely of frontman/multi-instrumentalist Matthew Milia's creation: a new, sacred landscape populated with the memories of the strip mall stretches and Michigan roadways of his youth. His sense of detail and place is beautiful and visually descriptive, like a Midwestern Cormac McCarthy. Milia's vocals are unadorned and honest, the songs haunting and spare.

Trek Life Releases Mixtape
Trek Life is set to release a mixtape entitled Before Everything Changed prior to the release of his new album, Everything Changed Nothing, which launches later this month. The mix is blended by DJ Tommy Blak and hosted by Trek Life collaborator/producer J. Bizness.

The mixtape is a goldmine of rare Trek Life material, much of which features collaborations with a host of key indie artists and producers. When asked how the mixtape came into being, Trek explained, "This mixtape came about by Tommy Blak raiding my studio Hard Drive and finding a folder of tracks that I had done with other people over the last few years... he felt like he should put them together so that people could see what other stuff I had done since Price I've Paid." Blak's efforts have resulted in something very special for fans.

"(Tommy Blak) felt like there were some "golden" verses that the Trek Life fans had never heard," he explains. Blak's selection includes the emcee's work with artists like Oddisee (producer of Trek's upcoming LP) who checks in on the "Heralds of Change" a thick track decorated with a barrage of heavy distorted bass, as well as "Radio Talk". The mix also features the track "Do It Again" a track by LMNO that featured Trek and Kev Brown. Trek Life's work with J. Sinatra Remastered September of My Years Album Set For Release
Concord Records ushers in the bittersweet season of autumn with a digitally remastered version of Frank Sinatra's September of My Years on August 31, 2010.

In the spring of 1965, Sinatra huddled with his arranger and friend, Gordon Jenkins, to record September of My Years, a collection of 13 songs from an iconic balladeer taking stock in a life well lived and recommitting himself to making the best of the years ahead. It was an album that spawned such classics as "This Is All I Ask," "Once Upon a Time" and of course, "It Was a Very Good Year." Four Grammys and 45 years later, the 1965 album is considered one of the finest recordings of his career.

In addition to the 13 songs from the original recording, the reissue also features two bonus tracks — a live version of "This Is All I Ask" and an alternate version of "How Old Am I?," which was released as a single in 1968. The packaging also includes extensive new liner notes, an engaging mix of first-hand historical record and personal reflections penned by music journalist Stan Cornyn, who won a Grammy Award for his liner notes to the original recording.
