Lady Gaga Mixed Up

Lady Gaga is the latest artist to take songs from a hit album and have them remixed and released as a new album. Here is the announcement:

Lady Gaga will release Lady Gaga - The Remix on August 3rd, 2010. The Remix has sold over 500,000 albums internationally topping the charts in the UK, Japan and Canada. The U.S. version of The Remix features ten songs from The Fame and The Fame Monster including Gaga hits like "Just Dance", "Poker Face", "LoveGame", "Paparazzi", "Bad Romance", "Telephone" and "Alejandro" all remixed by highly acclaimed DJ's and artists. This is the first time this collection will be available stateside.

Following the announcement of the North American extension of The Monster Ball Tour, international pop superstar LADY GAGA now also has the largest selling digital album ever, scanning 783,056 units of "The Fame Monster" (combined). The Fame Monster and The Fame have sold over 13 million albums worldwide to date. Usher To Release The Final Chapter of Raymond V. Raymond

Usher is following up his 'Raymond V. Raymond' album with eight new songs with the release of 'Versus,' on August 24th.

On that day Usher fans will also have the opportunity to purchase Raymond V. Raymond (The Deluxe Edition) which will contain all songs from Raymond V. Raymond as well as Versus. The new set will include his current R&B hit "There Goes My Baby" and collaborations with Bun B, producer Polow Da Don and others.

American Idol's Blake Lewis Announces Special Release

American Idol's Blake Lewis will release his newest album, Heartbreak on Vinyl, on vinyl of course, with a wealthy of new, never before released content, this August.

Lewis, who recently topped Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart and the Dance Club Play Chart at #1 with the title track "Heartbreak on Vinyl," will sign, hand-number and personalize each of the only 500 available Limited Edition Double LP copies sold. Jonas Brothers World Tour Expands

Jonas Brothers have expanded their world tour plans with new stops in both Latin America and Europe as well as second shows in major U.S. markets.

Kelis will perform her new single, "4th of July (Fireworks)," on the Today show and next Tuesday, July 13th, on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

Shakira and Freshlyground To Perform at FIFA World Cup Closing Ceremonies

Shakira and Freshlyground will be performing "Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)," the Official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, during the closing ceremonies.

The performance will take place on the field at Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg on July 11 at 6:42 local time to precede the final match of the cup and will be available to all FIFA network partners.

Sony Music announced today that Shakira featuring Freshlyground's Waka Waka (This Time For Africa), the Official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, has reached one million singles sold since it became available May 11. In the history of the World Cup. "Waka Waka" is the fastest-selling single and the biggest-selling World Cup single of the digital age. A featured placement on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance last week has paid off big for indie musician Christina Perri. Her song "Jar of Hearts" rapidly climbed the iTunes Charts last week, following the broadcast.

The track has gone on to sell an astonishing 47,624 copies in its first week and debuts at #26 on the Billboard Singles Sales Chart.

Scissor Sisters Announce Summer Tour

Scissor Sisters will kick off their North American tour on August 21st at Atlanta's Buckhead Theatre.
