In the midst of her 27-date European tour, Rihanna suffered an injured rib that required a brief trip to an emergency room in Switzerland. The injury took place during Monday's show in Zurich. Following the performance, Rihanna was taken to a private clinic. "[She] had an injured rib and went to have it looked at to be sure it was nothing serious, and it wasn't," the 22-year-old singer's rep said. more

Grace Jones confirms to the Guardian that she was approached to play with Lady Gaga and explains why she took a pass. When asked is Gaga approached her for a collaboration, Jones responded, "Yes, she did, but I said no. I'd just prefer to work with someone who is more original and someone who is not copying me, actually." When asked directly if Lady Gaga copies her, Jones responded, "Well, you know, I've seen some things she's worn that I've worn, and that does kind of piss me off." Read the full interview here

LCD Soundsystem third studio album, This Is Happening, is set to hit stores next month and frontman James Murphy is sure it will be LCD Soundsystem's final record - because he's ready to pursue other projects. "I don't want to be wildly famous. I like being respected and appreciated but I was never in a band to be a pop star" more

Disney Channel is readying a new high school musical. The network has ordered an original movie based on the novel "Lemonade Mouth," the story of five Rhode Island freshmen who meet in detention and decide to form a garage band using unusual instruments, including a ukulele. more

Lily Allen is set to cause a storm Down Under: she will appear topless on the front cover of Harper's Bazaar Australia. Jam! reports that the image shows her naked from the waist up, with one arm covering the right side of her chest but with her left breast clearly on show. more

The production of the next James Bond film has been suspended "indefinitely" because of uncertainty over the future of film company MGM, producers say. BBC reports that Producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said they did not know when work on the 23rd Bond film would resume and there was no date for its release. more

Lady Gaga is urging her fans not to sleep around, insisting it's "not really cool" to have various sex partners. "I can't believe I'm saying this - don't have sex. I'm single right now and I've chosen to be single because I don't have the time to get to know anybody. So it's OK not to have sex, it's OK to get to know people. I'm celibate, celibacy's fine." more

Tupac's Final Live Show That Also Featured Tha Dogg Pound Released On DVD
On July 4, 1996, Tupac Shakur's concert at the House of Blues proved to be his final performance before his untimely death two months later. On May 25, Eagle Rock Entertainment will proudly release this concert in the Blu-ray format, when Tupac: Live at the House of Blues hits shelves.

As a critical component to Death Row records, alongside other icons such as Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, Tupac brought a multi-dimensional appeal, allowing fans to bond with hip-hop like never before. This Blu-ray captures the raw charisma of one of Hip Hop's most revered artists. He contributed an immense body of work in his brief five-year career, as evidenced in this House of Blues performance.

Filmed in LA, the DVD showcases hip-hop's poet laureate joined by Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, K-Ci & JoJo, Outlawz, and Tha Dogg Pound through 118 minutes of hits and collaborations. 24 tracks deep, with five bonus songs, it shows Tupac's commanding presence, as he traverses from R&B cuts to straight club bangers to hard knock anthems. He also throws Snoop Dogg a few bones, featuring such hits as "Murder Was The Case" and "Who Am I (What's My Name)." - more on this story

American Idol: Season 9 Album
19 Recordings/RCA Records spotlights this year's fierce competition with American Idol: Season 9 available on CD, the new compilation includes performances by 10 of this season's top contestants.

New judge Ellen DeGeneres and the talented Idol contenders exceeded already high expectations, delivering one of the competition's best seasons. Taking pages from the legendary Lennon/McCartney songbook, Casey James delivered a stunning performance of "Jealous Guy," while 17-year old Katie Stevens provided one of the season's brightest moments with the fan favorite "Let It Be."

Among the collection's others highlights are Lee Dewyze's take on "Treat Her Like A Lady," and a trio of acoustic performances – Michael Lynch singing India Arie's "Ready For Love," Andrew Garcia's soulful performance of Chris Brown's "Forever" and Tim Urban's performance of The Rolling Stone classic "Under My Thumb" – plus Didi Benami singing The Stones' "Play with Fire." - more on this story
