Ke$ha Hype Selling Like Mad
(RCA) Ke$ha - the red hot pop sensation who has taken the world by storm - continues her 2010 domination. Her debut album "Animal", which was released on Tuesday, is #1 on the iTunes Albums Chart and trending #1 on SoundScan. Ke$ha is taking over the iTunes Top 10 Singles Chart with "TiK ToK" holding strong at #1 and "Blah Blah Blah" currently at #2.

Additionally, this week marks her 3rd week in the #1 spot on the SoundScan Digital Songs Chart and the Billboard Hot 100. Last week Ke$ha set the record for the biggest track sales week by any female artist in history (and #2 overall) when her debut single "TiK ToK" received 610,069 downloads.

Additionally, Ke$ha, who co-wrote "TiK ToK" along with the rest of her debut album Animal, also has the unique distinction of being featured on the only two tracks to ever sell over 500k singles in one week, "TiK ToK", as well as Flo Rida's 'Right Round" the current record holder for biggest track sales week. - more on this story

Rickie Lee Jones Adds Dates
Rickie Lee Jones has added additional tour dates in February in support of her recently released album Balm in Gilead. The tour includes stops in Chicago, Seattle and Portland among other cities (see routing below).

The set will include songs from the new album as well as fan favorites from Jones' memorable past albums. The New Yorker called Balm in Gilead, Rickie Lee Jones "strongest record of the second half of her career."

The tour comes on the heels of several TV performances including Jools Holland in the UK, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and The Ellen Degeneres Show where Rickie Lee Jones performed a stunning live version of "Old Enough" with Ben Harper. Harper is featured on the new album among other highly talented friends including Jon Brion, Bill Frisell, Victoria Williams, Alison Krauss and the late Vic Chesnutt, who recently passed away. - more on this story

Hank Williams Jr. and More for BamaJam
A spectacular, star-packed lineup is planned for the BamaJam Music & Arts Festival 2010. Organizers have announced the addition of superstars, Hank Williams Jr., Jake Owen, Miranda Lambert and LoCash Cowboys to the festival, slated for Thursday, June 3 through Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Enterprise, Alabama.

Ronnie Gilley Entertainment previously announced that multi-award winning entertainer Kenny Chesney will headline the 3rd annual event, giving fans a rare opportunity to catch the star live in 2010.

Mary Chapin Carpenter Sets New Album Release
The Age of Miracles, the new album from world-renowned singer-songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter will be released April 27 on Zoë/Rounder Records.

Over the course of a 12-album recording career, Carpenter has won five Grammy Awards and sold over 13 million records. The new record follows 2008's acclaimed Christmas release Come Darkness, Come Night and 2007's Grammy-nominated album The Calling.

Recorded in Nashville, the 12-track album was produced by Carpenter and long-time collaborator Matt Rollings (Lyle Lovett, Keith Urban) and was recorded and mixed by Chuck Ainlay (Mark Knopfler, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson). Carpenter is backed by a band that includes Rollings (piano, B-3 organ), Russ Kunkel (drums), Duke Levine (electric and acoustic guitar), Glenn Worf (bass), Dan Dugmore (steel and 12 string guitar) and Eric Darken (percussion). The album also features guest vocals by Vince Gill on "I Put My Ring Back On" and Alison Krauss on "I Was a Bird."

A national tour is planned surrounding the release. Additional details to be announced.

Michelle Williams Destined for Chicago on Broadway
