"I LOVE the Black Eyed Peas and am truly honored that my music has crossed over decades and many types of music genres. Will.i.am is a great producer and I am thrilled that he is a fan of KC and the Sunshine Band, too." KCSB's attorney David Bercuson is working to achieve an amicable solution to the legal issues resulting from this situation.

(CMT) The stars were out Tuesday night in Nashville to honor CMT's first ever Artists Of The Year, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift and Zac Brown Band, for their successes of the past year. Hosted by Kevin Costner, CMT Artists Of The Year will premiere tonight, Friday, December 3 from 8:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com. During the 90-minute special, taped last night at the Factory in Franklin, the honorees were brought together with their peers, as well as celebrities from across the entertainment spectrum, including celebrity chef Cat Cora, Hayley Williams of Paramore, Boston Red Sox's Josh Beckett, Kid Rock, Kix Brooks, Luke Bryan, Martina McBride, Alabama's Randy Owen, Randy Travis and Smokey Robinson who served as presenters for the glamorous evening. Kevin Costner opened the night by taking the stage and reminding the five honorees that, "Tonight is about you. It's not just about numbers this past year, it's about impact."

(Atlantic) Taylor Swift announced that Needtobreathe has been added as a featured artist to the North American dates of her Speak Now World Tour 2011. "It means a lot to us that Taylor hand-picked us for her Speak Now tour," Needtobreathe guitarist and co-songwriter Bo Rinehart says. "Everyone knows she has amazing fans, and we thrive on performing live, especially in front of new audiences." Needtobreathe will join the Speak Now Tour when the North American leg kicks off on May 27th in Omaha, Neb., and will be featured on all shows in the US and Canada.

Country star Josh Turner has announced multiple national TV appearances over the next few days. Turner will perform on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Friday, December 3 and he will be a featured performer at the American Country Awards airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Monday, Dec. 6 (8:00-10:00 PM ET) on FOX. Turner is nominated for five American Country Awards on Monday. Turner will perform his 4-week-number-one single, "Why Don't We Just Dance," which is the Most Played Song of the Year at country radio according to Mediabase. (Submitted) After nearly 14 years, the long-awaited Death Row Records album by one-time Dr. Dre protιgι Sam Sneed is finally being released. WIDEawake Entertainment Group Inc., the company who purchased the Death Row Records catalog, is releasing Sneed's Street Schoalrs project on January 25th, 2011 through E1 Entertainment. Sam Sneed became well-known for his catchphrase "My name is Sam Sneed, you better recognize!", which originally appeared in the song "Pump, Pump" off the Snoop Doggy Dogg debut album, Doggystyle. He also appeared in the Death Row movie, Murder Was the Case, which also spawned Sam Sneed's "U Better Recognize" single, featuring Dr. Dre, included in the movie's soundtrack. The soundtrack single peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales chart, #18 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart and #48 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.
